The ceremony to honor 135 outstanding science and technology intellectuals in 2024 was held by the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations on the morning of August 28 in Hanoi. National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended and spoke at the ceremony.

The list of 135 outstanding intellectuals in science and technology in 2024 includes many intellectuals in the medical field, many people's doctors, and labor heroes.
Most were elderly, many retired, but there were also many young people, including three intellectuals aged 39 and 40.
Dr. Nguyen Van Huong is the youngest. He is currently the deputy head of the environmental technology department of the Institute of New Technology, Ministry of National Defense.
Mr. Huong is the head of eight ministerial-level projects that have been accepted. He is also the secretary of 11 projects and a member of eight ministerial-level scientific projects that have been accepted.
Main author of three utility solutions/inventions granted exclusive patents by the Intellectual Property Office.
He is also the author of an initiative and technical innovation at the Military Science and Technology Institute, Ministry of National Defense.
Main author/co-author of 16 scientific articles published in domestic scientific journals.
