Previously, on November 3, Market Management Team No. 5 conducted a surprise inspection of a garment fabric business at 284 Luong The Vinh, Hai Tan Ward, Hai Duong City, Hai Duong Province, represented by Ms. Doan Thi Hong (born in 1992, residing in An Thai Area, Phu Thai Town, Kim Thanh District, Hai Duong Province) as the business owner.
At the time of inspection, the authorities discovered that the garment fabric business owned by Ms. Doan Thi Hong was operating as a business household without registering as a business household as required. The goods traded were 9,301 kg of various garment fabrics with signs of violations.
The authorities determined that all of the goods were of unknown origin. Market Management Team No. 5 completed the case file, drew up an administrative violation record, and submitted it to the Director of the Department to issue a decision to sanction Ms. Doan Thi Hong for two violations of "Not registering to establish a business household in cases where registration is required according to regulations" and "Trading in goods of unknown origin" according to regulations.
On November 29, the Director of the Market Management Department of Hai Duong province issued a decision to impose an administrative fine on Ms. Doan Thi Hong with a total amount of 52.5 million VND, confiscating the violated goods of 9,301 kg of various types of rolled garment fabrics (including: 6,926 kg of felt fabric, 2,125 kg of lining fabric, 191 kg of fur fabric and 59 kg of raw fabric) of unknown origin with a total value of the violated goods of nearly 160 million VND.
