On the morning of November 13, Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union organized the 2024 Provincial Reporter Festival with the participation of 23 candidates representing affiliated Youth Union units and bases.
The festival with the theme "Forever the revolutionary path of youth" is for youth union members who are reporters or propagandists, members of the Youth Theory Club of the Union.
Contestants participating in the festival presented a topic on the current situation, good solutions, new ways of doing things, typical models in organizing research, studying, grasping, propagating and implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term, implementing policies in the propaganda and education work of the Youth Union, participating in protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views.
Current and prominent topics, issues that are of interest to youth union members, specific situations and events occurring in localities and units that impact the situation and thoughts of youth, and influence the implementation of Youth Union work and youth movements in recent times.
After the practical topic reporting round, the jury selected the 10 best candidates to enter the situation handling round. The 10 candidates answered questions given by the jury related to the topic content that the candidates chose.
As a result, Senior Lieutenant Dao Trong Phu, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Foreign Security Department, Hai Duong Provincial Police, excellently won the first prize of the festival with the topic: Promoting the advice of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong "Honor is the most sacred and noble thing" in the Youth of Hai Duong Provincial Police.
The Secretary of the Youth Union of the Foreign Security Department gave specific examples of the honor of the young communist Ho Chi Minh and the youth of Hai Duong Police preserving and promoting the tradition and honor of the Vietnam People's Police force. He made a connection between President Ho Chi Minh's teachings to the youth, the teachings of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and the 6 teachings of Uncle Ho to the People's Police.
Second prize of the festival went to contestants Hoang Quoc Vu, member of the Standing Committee of Sao Do University Youth Union and Ha Van Kien, Secretary of Cam Giang High School Youth Union.
The organizing committee also awarded 3 third prizes, 4 consolation prizes and 13 promising prizes to contestants participating in the festival.
The festival is an environment for the team of reporters to have the conditions to study, research, practice, improve skills, and improve professional qualifications. At the same time, it contributes to improving the quality and effectiveness of the Union's oral propaganda work in the current period.
