On September 26, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee worked with the Standing Committee and the Party Executive Committee of the Department of Culture and Sports on the situation and results of Party building work and political tasks from the beginning of the 2020-2025 term to present. Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation chaired.

Since the beginning of the term, the Party Committee and leaders of the Department of Culture and Sports have issued many documents to specify the Resolutions of the Central Committee, Provincial Party Committee, and Bloc Party Committee in Party building work. In particular, focusing on implementing Conclusion 01 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive 05 on "promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle"; training and admitting 56 new Party members, exceeding the target set by the Department's Party Congress Resolution.

Regarding the results of implementing political tasks, the Department has advised the Provincial People's Committee to effectively implement the work of building grassroots cultural life; successfully organize many national and international cultural and sports events; at the same time, well implement the work of preserving and promoting heritage values, building sports movements in the local community.

Concluding the working session, comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, highly appreciated the achievements in all aspects of the work of the Party Committee of the Department of Culture and Sports since the beginning of the term. Regarding the tasks in the coming time, he emphasized that the province's viewpoint is to invest more strongly in the field of culture and sports. In the process of building a preliminary outline of the political report, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee agreed to identify one of the three breakthroughs in the coming term as developing a culture rich in Quang Ninh's identity associated with building and developing the cultural industry. Therefore, the task set for the Department of Culture and Sports is very large in the condition of limited staffing.

To complete the assigned tasks, he requested the Party Committee and leaders of the Department to continue implementing solutions to improve the quality of the staff. For staff with many years of experience, the Party Committee of the Department reports to the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to propose to the Provincial Party Committee to rotate staff; contributing to supplementing the staff of cultural management in the locality.
At the same time, the Department needs to continue to focus on building and perfecting regulations in the field of cultural and sports management; strengthening the management apparatus of public service units; on the other hand, reviewing and proposing appropriate financial autonomy mechanisms in the current context for these units.

Regarding cultural and sports facilities damaged by storm No. 3, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that, in addition to proposing repairs, the Department should also advise the Provincial People's Committee on upgrading plans to meet new requirements and tasks; in line with the modernization trend and enjoyment needs of people and tourists.
Along with that, the Department needs to study and propose the construction of a national defense sports park to serve physical training and life skills activities, especially for students; advise on the selection and construction of a model of culture and sports in each locality. In addition, the Department of Culture and Sports needs to pay more attention to the work of preserving and promoting the value of heritages in the area, especially the standardization of relic records; aiming to build Quang Ninh into a cultural and sports center with works and institutions that meet national and international standards; gradually forming a sports economic sector, thereby contributing to the overall socio-economic development of the province.
