Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee works with Standing Committee of Ninh Phuoc District Party Committee

On February 27, comrade Nguyen Duc Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired an online meeting between the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Ninh Phuoc District Party Committee on the results of the district's tasks in 2023 and the direction and tasks in 2024. Attending were comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of relevant departments and branches.

In 2023, Ninh Phuoc District Party Committee focused on leadership and direction to achieve and exceed 12/13 targets set out in the plan. The socio-economy continued to develop; the economic structure shifted in the right direction; the total production value of all sectors reached 11,105.44 billion VND, an increase of 12.81% compared to 2022. Attention was paid to investment in transport and irrigation infrastructure, with high connectivity. National defense and security were strengthened; social order and safety were ensured. The work of Party building and the political system made much progress. Inspection and supervision work was strengthened; the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity was seriously implemented. Mass mobilization work and activities of the Front and socio-political organizations continued to be promoted through emulation movement activities, creating solidarity and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc in the locality.

In 2024, Ninh Phuoc District Party Committee has set the goal of building a clean, strong, streamlined Party Committee and political system that operates effectively and efficiently. Effectively implement the policy of restructuring the economy in conjunction with renewing the growth model, towards maximizing the potential and advantages of the district, taking high-tech agriculture and renewable energy as the driving force for rapid and sustainable economic development. Effectively manage and use resources for investment in development, protect resources and the environment, effectively respond to climate change; control the epidemic situation well; ensure social security, improve the material and spiritual life of the people. Leaders ensure national defense and security; improve the quality of new rural areas and effectively implement the roadmap to build Phuoc Dan town to meet the standards of a type IV urban area.

Speaking at the meeting, the Provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated, acknowledged and commended the solidarity, responsibility, determination and working methods of the Standing Committee, Party Committee and people of Ninh Phuoc district in implementing the tasks in the past time. Regarding the tasks in 2024, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Ninh Phuoc District Party Committee to focus on analyzing, evaluating and identifying more clearly and fully the opportunities and challenges; especially some new opportunities that create momentum for the socio-economic development of the district to have a plan to focus on leadership, direction and effective implementation, meeting the requirements of rapid and sustainable development. Strengthening the study, dissemination, dissemination and concretization of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, especially the newly issued resolutions of the central and provincial governments directly related to the development of the district, in order to raise awareness, create high consensus and unity among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life in organizing the implementation of the set goals. Strengthening the work of ensuring security and order; proactively grasping and accurately forecasting the situation, avoiding passivity and surprise; properly resolving issues related to ethnicity and religion.

Implement well the Party building work; promote the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. Take the initiative in preparing for Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; especially the preparation of documents and personnel work. Pay attention to implementing social security policies in the area in a timely manner, to the right subjects and in accordance with regulations, in order to improve and enhance the material and spiritual life of the people.
