The Standing Committee of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Council convened the year-end meeting from December 6-8.

This is a regular session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, with many important contents, focusing on assessing the socio-economic development situation in 2023 and plans and solutions for 2024.

The Standing Committee of the People's Council of Ha Tinh province has just announced the convening of the 17th session of the People's Council, scheduled to take place over 3 days, opening at 8:00 a.m. on December 6, 2023 at the first floor hall, headquarters of the Provincial People's Committee.

At this year-end meeting, the Provincial People's Council focused on reviewing reports, submissions, and draft resolutions on the results of implementing socio-economic, national defense and security goals in 2023; deciding on socio-economic development, national defense and security goals and solutions in 2024. Implementation of the public investment plan in 2023; tasks and solutions in 2024. Results of implementing the State budget revenue and expenditure estimates in 2023; deciding on the State budget revenue and expenditure estimates in 2024; reviewing the 3-year State financial and budget plan for 2024 - 2026. Approving the State budget settlement in 2022. Implementation of civil servant payrolls in administrative agencies, the number of people working in public service units, and associations in 2023; payroll plan for 2024.

The Provincial People's Council will discuss and issue 21 thematic resolutions, including many notable resolutions such as: Some policies to support the development of logistics and export services in Ha Tinh province until 2025; approve the project to adjust the Gia Lach Industrial Park construction zoning plan, scale 1/2,000; approve the project to adjust and expand the Loc Ha District Sea Tourism Area construction zoning plan, scale 1/2000; stipulate a number of policies to support the implementation of population resettlement in areas: natural disasters, especially difficult areas, border areas in Ha Tinh province in the period of 2023 - 2025; stipulate the support regime for training Lao students studying at training institutions in Ha Tinh province in the period of 2023 - 2025; stipulate the level of support for people assigned to directly assist people who are subject to educational measures in communes, wards and towns in Ha Tinh province; Regulating policies to support Community Digital Transformation Teams in Ha Tinh province, period 2024 - 2026; regulating some spending levels for activities of selecting and honoring the title of outstanding intellectuals of Ha Tinh province.

According to the plan, the Provincial People's Council also reviewed reports of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Council committees on: results of activities in 2023, directions and tasks in 2024; inspection of the Provincial People's Council committees; results of thematic supervision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council on handling voters' petitions, content of answers to questions at the 8th Session and the 11th Session of the 18th Provincial People's Council; results of thematic supervision of the Provincial People's Council committees... Reports of the Provincial People's Committee on: results of direction and administration in 2023; results of public reception, handling of complaints and denunciations and the fight against corruption and waste in 2023; work to prevent and combat violations of the law and crimes in 2023; environmental protection work in 2023; State finance in 2022.

Report on the results of the work of: People's Procuracy, People's Court, Civil Judgment Enforcement Agency in 2023; tasks and solutions in 2024. Report on responses to voters' opinions and recommendations sent to the 17th session of the Provincial People's Council. Results of the implementation of the interpellation contents; voters' opinions and recommendations sent to the 14th session of the Provincial People's Council.

Delegates also listened to the Provincial National Assembly Delegation report on the results of the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly; listened to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee report on the results of performing the task of participating in supervision and government building in 2023.

The Provincial People's Council also conducts questioning and answering questions; takes a vote of confidence for the person holding the position elected by the Provincial People's Council.
