In 2023, despite many difficulties and challenges due to the world, regional and domestic situation, our entire Party, people and army will always be united, highly unified, closely coordinated, have correct, creative and timely policies and decisions to synchronously and comprehensively implement the targets and tasks of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; promote Party building and rectification, prevent and combat corruption and negativity; promote socio-economic recovery and development (GDP of 430 billion USD, growth of 5.05%, 1.5 times higher than the global economic rate of 2.9%); consolidate and strengthen national defense, security and foreign affairs; maintain social order and safety; ensure good social security; improve and enhance people's lives (GDP per capita reaches 4,284 USD, entering the upper middle-income threshold); creating positive changes in mood and trust in society, recognized and highly appreciated by public opinion and international friends.

Proactively prevent, combat, and minimize damage caused by natural disasters, traffic accidents, fires, explosions, and fireworks...

Strictly implement the direction of the Head of the Central Steering Committee and the Standing Office of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption and negativity. Strictly implement regulations on controlling power, preventing and combating corruption and negativity in personnel work; inspection, supervision, enforcement of party discipline and in inspection, auditing, investigation, prosecution, trial and execution of judgments.

Implement the 2024 Foreign Affairs Program of the Party and State leaders. Carefully prepare for the meeting between the Politburo of our Party and the Politburo of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party in 2024; welcome heads of state to officially visit Vietnam.

Carry out well the work of protecting internal politics, ensuring social order and safety, religious and ethnic security, especially during the Giap Thin New Year. Carry out well the work of protecting state secrets; ensuring network security and safety. Proactively prevent and combat the activities of some political opportunists and discontented elements. Rectify and strictly handle the situation of the press not strictly following the propaganda guidelines, publishing information that causes negative reactions.

Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai stated that central agencies and organizations should increase exchanges, coordination, and support in a smooth and effective manner; promote administrative reform, apply information technology, and digital transformation in work; focus on reviewing and directing the completion of tasks of their agencies and fields; at the same time, propose and recommend solutions to complete common tasks and related tasks; strive to complete the targets and tasks of 2024 well from the first month and first quarter of the year, making an important contribution to completing the targets and tasks of the 13th National Party Congress.
