Standing member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong meets with voters in Thanh Hoa

At the conference, 8 voters expressed their opinions. The majority of opinions highly agreed with the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies, especially the mechanisms and policies that are closer to reality, entering life, strengthening the voters' and people's trust in the Party and the State.

In addition, voters made recommendations to the National Assembly and the Government about a number of regulations that are not suitable to reality, such as: regulations of the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations; regulations on civil status related to procedures for registering recognition of father, mother, and child; regulations on allocating 10% of land use fee and land rent revenue for planning and surveying; regulations on management and use of public assets at State agencies; the issue of making a project to use public assets for joint ventures and associations in organizing educational activities, life skills and extracurricular educational activities...

Voters of Thanh Hoa City also proposed that National Assembly deputies request the Ministry of Transport to soon renovate and repair the National Highway 1A bypass road in the East of Thanh Hoa City.

This route is about 10 km long, with a total investment of about 822 billion VND in the form of BOT, managed by Thanh Hoa Bypass BOT Joint Stock Company and put into use in 2009. However, since July 2017, the maintenance of the route has not received due attention, leading to the risk of traffic safety.

Thanh Hoa City People's Committee has sent many documents to the Ministry of Transport requesting the BOT company to review and repair the damaged works to ensure traffic safety according to the project contract. However, up to now, the damaged locations have not been repaired by the BOT company.

Speaking to voters of Thanh Hoa City, Standing member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong respectfully thanked voters of Thanh Hoa City for their frank and heartfelt opinions at the meeting; and at the same time informed them about the world and domestic situation.

Standing member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong also requested the National Assembly Delegation of Thanh Hoa province to fully absorb and synthesize reports to the National Assembly, the Government, and relevant central ministries and branches to continue studying and considering resolving recommendations within their authority as soon as possible.

At the same time, the leaders of Thanh Hoa province are requested to pay attention to directing the City People's Committee, relevant departments and branches to consider and resolve within their authority as soon as possible, meeting the legitimate aspirations of voters and people of Thanh Hoa city and wish the Party Committee, government and people of Thanh Hoa city will continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, solidarity, creativity, effectively promote potential and advantages to strive to be in the group of leading provincial urban areas in the country by 2025.
