Effectively implementing the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Son Duong

According to Resolution No. 1106/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in the 2023-2025 period of Tuyen Quang province, Son Duong district has 2 communes, Hong Lac and Van Son, which are subject to merger to establish Hong Son commune.

After the merger, Hong Son commune has a natural area of ​​19.35 ^km2 and 9,576 people; borders Chi Thiet, Dong Quy, Hao Phu, Quyet Thang, Truong Sinh, Van Phu communes and Phu Tho province; has 30 commune-level administrative units including 29 communes and 1 town.

Son Duong district has issued a plan and implemented the arrangement of communes in accordance with regulations. District-level agencies and units have proactively coordinated and guided the People's Committees of Hong Lac and Van Son communes to inventory facilities, finance, assets, and ongoing investment projects for handover; have a plan to effectively use the headquarters of agencies and units after the merger. At the same time, review personnel, develop a plan to mobilize and arrange cadres and civil servants in the two communes; promptly propagate to create high consensus among all cadres, party members and people.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Son Duong District Party Committee spoke at the meeting.

Delegates attending the conference discussed and proposed solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing the arrangement of communes, and deploying plans to effectively carry out the arrangement.

Comrade Vu Ngoc Khanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs, discussed the plan to arrange commune-level administrative units.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Tuan highly appreciated Son Duong district and related agencies and units for being proactive in implementing the arrangement of commune-level administrative units according to the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Committee.

He requested that relevant departments, branches, units and Son Duong district coordinate to review the work that has been done, ensuring that the arrangement is in accordance with the correct steps, current regulations and brings high efficiency. If there are any difficulties or problems during the implementation process, promptly report them for solutions. After the establishment of the new commune, there must be no interruption in operations, the new apparatus needs to start operating continuously and effectively.

He requested relevant agencies and units of the province and district to continue to coordinate and promote their responsibilities in supporting Hong Son commune to ensure that after the reorganization, everything must be done effectively, improving the operational efficiency of the new unit. In the process of implementing the reorganization of commune-level administrative units, it is necessary to focus on information and propaganda work to create high consensus among the Party, government and people.
