On the morning of August 25, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council received Comrade Ly Tri Dung and the delegation.

At the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang suggested that the two sides increase experience sharing, promote cooperation, and exchange experts in this field, considering this an important contribution to the cause of building socialism in each country; and suggested that the two sides coordinate to well organize the 18th Theoretical Workshop between the two Parties in the coming time.

Comrade Ly Tri Dung expressed his high agreement with the proposed opinions of Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang and wished to learn about the new theoretical achievements that the Communist Party of Vietnam, headed by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, has summarized and developed in recent years.

* Previously, on the morning of August 24, comrade Hoang Dang Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee chaired a meeting with the delegation.

* During the visit, the delegation also worked with a number of units of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; visited and surveyed grassroots party organizations in Ho Chi Minh City.
