The working sessions of Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar contributed to making Vietnam's information and communications cooperation with the Middle East increasingly practical and effective.
From October 28-31, within the framework of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia and Qatar, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung had meetings with management agencies and businesses in the three countries, laying the foundation for expanding cooperation programs.

At the working session with Qatari Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, the two sides discussed development strategies and orientations to promote cooperation between the two countries. The two ministers agreed to prioritize cooperation in investment and development of data center infrastructure and cloud computing, creating conditions for businesses of the two countries to jointly invest in building and exploiting telecommunications infrastructure in the countries, and cooperate in developing digital transformation projects in both Vietnam and Qatar, and from Qatar to countries in the Middle East. Previously, authorized by the Prime Minister, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung delivered a concluding speech at the Vietnam - United Arab Emirates (UAE) Business Forum. Minister Nguyen Manh Hung highly appreciated the initiative and creativity of Vietnamese enterprises in approaching, promoting investment and expanding the market in the Middle East. Along with the development of political and diplomatic relations between the two countries, Vietnamese enterprises, including digital technology enterprises, are having many opportunities to exploit this potential market. During the working program in the UAE, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung had a working session with the CEO and leaders of Sirius Group of the UAE.
