Ly Minh Triet (52 years old) and Le Minh (50 years old) in Amakirk Vietnam Club teamed up to compete in the over 35 age group at the World Pickleball Championship taking place in Bali (Indonesia). Considered a pair of veterans competing with their opponents, but with their background as top table tennis and tennis players, Ly Minh Triet and Le Minh played very well and in harmony to win the championship.

In the final today, Ly Minh Triet/Le Minh defeated the Thai pair Piyapon Srirapan/Andersen Reino with a score of 21/12. In which Andersen Reino is a Thai of Danish origin who played very well in the previous matches. In the previous semi-final, Ly Minh Triet/Le Minh won a rather difficult victory against the pair Thitiphan Subkla/Yodsapol Pisiviroj (Thailand) with a score of 15/12.

"I am very happy with the title that the two brothers won. I just had surgery on both knees 8 months ago, the two brothers together are 102 years old and compete with younger opponents. However, thanks to the foundation accumulated from the time playing sports at the peak, the good coordination, courage and experience helped us distribute our strength reasonably and accelerate at the right time to get the final result", Ly Minh Triet shared.

In just one day, Le Minh competed in 15 matches in 2 events, but he still showed amazing perseverance. In addition to winning the over-35 open event with Ly Minh Triet, he also won the right to enter the final of the over-19 men's doubles event (level 4.5).
