The Prime Minister submitted to the National Assembly for approval the dismissal of the positions of Minister of Finance and Minister of Transport.

At the end of the National Assembly's working session on the afternoon of November 27, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh submitted a proposal to approve the dismissal of the positions of Minister of Finance and Minister of Transport for the 2021-2026 term.

According to Press Release No. 27, 8th Session, 15th National Assembly, on the afternoon of November 27, under the direction of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, the National Assembly listened to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh present a proposal requesting the National Assembly to approve the dismissal of the positions of Minister of Finance and Minister of Transport for the 2021-2026 term.

After that, the National Assembly discussed in groups the proposal to approve the dismissal of the positions of Minister of Finance and Minister of Transport for the 2021-2026 term.

Currently, the position of Minister of Finance is held by Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc concurrently, while the position Minister of Transport by Mr. Nguyen Van Thang.

Previously, according to the announcement of the Party Central Committee Office, at the 13th Party Central Committee Conference on November 25, the Central Committee gave opinions on personnel for the Politburo to decide to introduce to the 15th National Assembly to approve the positions of Minister of Finance and Minister of Transport; elect members of the Standing Committee, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the Office of the National Assembly.
