Within the framework of the visit and working session in Thanh Hoa province, on the afternoon of January 28, at the premises of T&T Investment, Construction and Trade Joint Stock Company (Hoang Long Industrial Park, Thanh Hoa City), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and leaders of Thanh Hoa Province visited and presented gifts to policy families, poor households, and workers in Thanh Hoa province on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024.

Speaking here, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent his warm regards and best wishes to all officials, workers, laborers, representatives of policy households, and families in difficult circumstances.
The Prime Minister said that the Party and State always care for people to have an increasingly prosperous and happy life, with the viewpoint of considering people as the center, the subject, the goal, the driving force and the resource for development; not sacrificing progress, social justice and social security to pursue mere growth.

"Although the country still faces many difficulties, every year our country still allocates a large amount of resources to invest, support, ensure social security, and improve the material and spiritual life of the people. With high determination, great efforts and many creative, appropriate and effective ways, Vietnam has achieved impressive achievements in poverty reduction, which have been highly appreciated by the international community. Thanks to the correct and effective policies of the State and the joint efforts of the entire community and society, millions of people have risen out of poverty, become rich and returned to help the community," said the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister also praised Thanh Hoa province for its positive results in socio-economic development in recent times, especially in implementing social security policies. At the same time, he requested the Party Committee and the government of Thanh Hoa province to continue to pay attention to social security work; ensure that people have a safe, healthy and effective Tet holiday, leaving no one behind, and no one without a Tet holiday.

It is necessary to pay attention to the construction of housing for workers because only when they have a stable home can they have a stable job. It is necessary to do a good job of planning, allocating land funds, implementing the construction of social housing, workers' housing, organizing the construction of workers' housing in a systematic and synchronous manner in terms of infrastructure, cultural, sports, medical, educational, environmental institutions, etc., in accordance with the situation and conditions of the country and locality.
For businesses, the Prime Minister suggested regularly paying attention to improving working conditions, increasing labor productivity; taking care of salary and bonus regimes to contribute to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in businesses; caring for, visiting and encouraging and supporting both materially and spiritually for workers.
Reporting to the Prime Minister at the visit and gift-giving ceremony for policy households, poor households, and workers, Mr. Do Minh Tuan, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, said that Thanh Hoa province has allocated nearly 60 billion VND to visit and give gifts to 188,262 people with revolutionary contributions and their relatives; allocated 31 billion VND to congratulate and celebrate longevity for nearly 70,000 elderly people; localities have received gifts and objects to organize and give to the elderly at longevity celebrations, held from the 4th to the 6th day of Tet.
