Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang has just signed the Prime Minister's decisions on disciplinary action against two former Deputy Ministers of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA).

In Decision No. 447/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister decided to discipline Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phi, former Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, with a warning. Previously, at the 37th session, implementing the direction of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption and negativity, reviewing the inspection results when there were signs of violations against the Party Committee of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Central Inspection Committee found that the Party Committee of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs violated the principle of democratic centralism and working regulations.

The Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs was also determined to be irresponsible and lax in leadership and direction, allowing the Ministry and a number of organizations and individuals to seriously violate Party regulations and State laws in advising and implementing mechanisms and policies on vocational training; in implementing bidding packages carried out by the International Progress Joint Stock Company (AIC) and enterprises in the AIC ecosystem.

According to the Central Inspection Commission, the above violations have affected the implementation of the Vocational Training Development Strategy, causing serious and difficult-to-remedy consequences; risking huge losses and wastes of State money and assets and social human resources; causing public outrage, negatively affecting the reputation of Party organizations and State management agencies, to the point that disciplinary action must be considered.

The Central Inspection Committee determined that responsibility for the above violations belongs to the Party Committee of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs for the 2011-2016 and 2016-2021 terms, including former members of the Party Committee and Deputy Ministers Nguyen Ngoc Phi and Huynh Van Ti.

The Central Inspection Commission disciplined Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phi, former member of the Party Executive Committee and Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, with a warning.

On April 19, the Politburo and the Secretariat reviewed and disciplined the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and related individuals. In particular, the Politburo decided to issue a warning to Mr. Huynh Van Ti.
