(kontumtv.vn) – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision No. 506/QD-TTg dated June 13, 2024 on the assignment of tasks of Deputy Prime Ministers.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai

According to the Decision, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai is assigned to monitor and direct the following areas of work: As stipulated in Point a, Clause 3, Article 2 of Decision No. 1460/QD-TTg dated September 6, 2021 on the assignment of work of the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Ministers; Trade - import and export; petroleum reserves and supply; logistics services; General mechanisms and policies on public asset management (handling work related to public asset management in specialized fields directed by Deputy Prime Ministers in charge of the field); Approving investment policies for investment projects under the authority according to assigned fields.

Monitoring and direction: Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Finance, State Bank of Vietnam, Government Inspectorate, Government Office, State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises, Vietnam Social Security, National Financial Supervisory Commission, Vietnam Development Bank, Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, Deposit Insurance.

Act as Chairman of the National Councils and Committees, Head of the Steering Committees specified in Point c, Clause 3, Article 2 of Decision No. 1460/QD-TTg; Chairman of the Council for appraisal of planning in related fields.

Other tasks assigned and authorized by the Prime Minister.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha

According to the Decision, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha is assigned to monitor and direct the following areas of work: Industry; Construction; Transport; Natural resources and environment; National master plan, regional planning, provincial planning; Energy assurance, energy saving and efficient use; Climate change response strategy; Economic zones, industrial parks, export processing zones; National key projects, basic construction investment projects under the authority of the assigned field; General mechanisms and policies on bidding (resolving bidding-related work in specialized fields directed by Deputy Prime Ministers in charge of the field); Approving investment policies for investment projects under the authority of the assigned field.

Monitoring and direction: Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Construction, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City.

Duties: Chairman of the National Planning Council; Chairman of the National Council on Water Resources; Chairman of the Vietnam Subcommittee in the Vietnam - Russian Federation Intergovernmental Committee; Head of the State Steering Committee for important national programs, works and projects, key energy sector; Head of the Central Steering Committee on housing policy and real estate market; Head of the National Steering Committee on green growth; Chairman of the Vietnam Mekong River Commission; Chairmen of National Councils and Committees, Heads of Steering Committees, Chairman of the Council for appraisal of planning in related fields.

Other tasks assigned and authorized by the Prime Minister.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang

According to the Decision, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang is assigned to monitor and direct the following areas of work: Diplomacy and foreign relations; official development assistance (ODA) and mobilization of preferential loans; foreign non-governmental aid, foreign non-governmental organizations; international integration; monitoring, directing negotiations and implementation of bilateral and multilateral international commitments; ASEAN single window mechanism, national single window mechanism and trade facilitation; foreign direct investment (FDI), Vietnam's investment abroad; Vietnam's relations with international and regional organizations; border work and East Sea - Island issues; work of overseas Vietnamese and issues of foreigners in Vietnam, human rights issues; ethnic and religious work; hunger eradication and poverty reduction; regular issues of emulation and rewards; ensuring traffic order and safety; crime prevention and control; prevention and control of smuggling and trade fraud; agriculture and rural development; flood and storm prevention, search and rescue; science and technology; information and communication; approval of investment policies for investment projects under its authority in assigned fields.

Monitoring and direction: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Information and Communications, Committee for Ethnic Minorities, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.

Duties: Chairman of the Vietnam-China Bilateral Cooperation Steering Committee; Head of the Vietnam-Laos Intergovernmental Committee; Chairman of the National Steering Committee on the ASEAN Single Window Mechanism, the National Single Window Mechanism and Trade Facilitation; Head of the State Steering Committee on Land Border Demarcation and Marker Planting; Head of the Crime Prevention Steering Committee; Head of the National Steering Committee against Smuggling, Trade Fraud and Counterfeit Goods; Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee; Chairman of the National Civil Aviation Security Committee; Head of the Steering Committee on Human Rights; Head of the Central Steering Committee for the implementation of 03 National Target Programs: new rural construction for the period 2021 - 2025, sustainable poverty reduction for the period 2021 - 2025, socio-economic development for ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021 - 2030; Head of the Central Steering Committee on Natural Disaster Prevention; Chairmen of National Councils and Committees, Heads of Steering Committees, Chairmen of Councils for appraisal of planning in relevant fields.

Other tasks assigned and authorized by the Prime Minister.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long

According to the Decision, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long is assigned to monitor and direct the following areas of work: institutional building, building a socialist rule-of-law state; judicial reform; handling international disputes and complaints; amnesty; coordination of work between the Government and the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuracy; education, training and vocational training; labor, employment and social issues; culture; tourism; physical education and sports; health, population, family and children; approval of investment policies for investment projects under his authority in assigned areas.

Monitor and direct: Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Health. Concurrently hold the position of Minister of Justice until the competent authority completes the position of Minister of Justice for the 2021 - 2026 term according to regulations.

Duties: Chairman of the National Council for Education and Human Resources Development; Chairman of the Central Council for National Defense and Security Education; Chairman of the National Committee for AIDS, Drug and Prostitution Prevention and Control; Chairman of the National Council for Sustainable Development and Competitiveness Enhancement; Head of the State Steering Committee on Tourism; Head of the Central Inter-sectoral Steering Committee on Food Safety and Hygiene; Chairman of National Councils and Committees, Heads of Steering Committees, Chairman of the Council for Appraisal of Planning in Related Fields.
