Prime Minister reappoints Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Dang Hoang An

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision No. 499 to re-appoint Mr. Dang Hoang An to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade.

The reappointment term is from May 15.

Previously, in Decision No. 529 dated May 15, 2018, the Prime Minister appointed Mr. Dang Hoang An to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade.

Deputy Minister Dang Hoang An directs work in the fields of oil and gas, coal; finance, enterprise innovation, market management, office work. Directs work in the fields of electricity, renewable energy; national defense and defense industry; crime prevention. He is also in charge of bilateral relations and market development, issues related to trade dispute settlement and anti-dumping, anti-subsidy abroad for Vietnamese goods in European countries.

Mr. Dang Hoang An is the head of the crime prevention steering committee and is also in charge of party and mass organization work at the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Mr. Dang Hoang An, on behalf of the Ministry, directed the Industry and Trade sector of the following provinces and cities: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Vinh Phuc, Hung Yen, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Bac Giang, Phu Tho, Quang Ninh, Hoa Binh, Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau.

Deputy Minister Dang Hoang An directly directs the Ministry's Office, the Department of Finance and Enterprise Innovation, the Department of Oil, Gas and Coal, the Department of European - American Markets (for work related to the European market), the Department of Energy Saving and Sustainable Development, the Electricity Regulatory Authority, the Department of Electricity and Renewable Energy, the General Department of Market Management, the Office of the National Steering Committee for Electricity Development, and the Office of the State Steering Committee for Key Oil and Gas Projects.

On behalf of the Ministry, direct the implementation of state management in the Coal - Mineral sector. Participate with the Minister in directing the implementation of state management in the Oil and Gas and Electricity sectors.
