Deputy Minister of Finance Vo Thanh Hung holds the position of Deputy Chief of the Party Central Office

The Secretariat decided that Mr. Vo Thanh Hung, member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Finance, was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Chief of the Party Central Office.

On the afternoon of November 20, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, the Party Central Committee Office organized the announcement of the Secretariat's decision on personnel work.

Party Central Committee Secretary, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Nguyen Duy Ngoc chaired the ceremony.

Mr. Ho Duc Phoc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister , Minister of Finance; representatives of relevant agencies... also attended.

At the ceremony, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Phan Thang An announced the decision of the Secretariat. Accordingly, the Secretariat decided that Mr. Vo Thanh Hung, member of the Party Executive Committee, Deputy Minister of Finance, was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Party Office.

Presenting the Decision and congratulating Mr. Vo Thanh Hung, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Party Central Committee Office Nguyen Duy Ngoc gave a speech assigning tasks, stating that Mr. Vo Thanh Hung is a cadre with basic training, growing up from the grassroots. During the process of performing tasks in different positions, he always strived, was modest, actively trained, and completed well the assigned tasks.

We are currently summarizing the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 6th Central Conference, Session XII "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently."

Emphasizing this, Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc stated that the Central Party Office is an advisory and assisting agency of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Standing Secretariat.

Highlighting the need to perfect the leadership of the Party Central Office to ensure that it meets the requirements of the tasks in the new situation, Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc expressed his belief that, with his working experience, Mr. Vo Thanh Hung will quickly take over and continue working with the leadership of the Office, departments, bureaus, and units under the Party Central Office to successfully complete the assigned tasks; including implementing the direction of General Secretary To Lam on reviewing and proposing the organizational model, standards, and criteria for the Central Office's cadres to ensure that it is a "headquarters" agency and a key unit, meeting the very high requirements of the tasks, and having a breakthrough in the new situation.

In his acceptance speech, comrade Vo Thanh Hung respectfully thanked the Secretariat for trusting him and appointing him to the position of Deputy Chief of the Party Central Office.

Clearly stating that the new assigned tasks are a great honor as well as the requirement to contribute and continue the achievements in the development of the Party Central Office, Mr. Vo Thanh Hung promised to always strive and try his best, overcome difficulties and challenges; constantly learn, practice, quickly approach new tasks, continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, uphold responsibility, join hands, and unanimously carry out assigned tasks, meeting the requirements of accuracy, timeliness and increasingly high quality of the Party Central Office, which is the focal point, advisory and support agency of the Central Committee, directly the Politburo and the Secretariat.

During his work, he will thoroughly grasp the viewpoints, policies and resolutions of the Party, especially the direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat, headed by General Secretary To Lam on the requirement to strongly innovate the Party's leadership methods; with the spirit of innovation and creativity, he will closely coordinate with leaders, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the Central Office, Party Committees... to well perform assigned tasks, making common contributions to the cause of sustainable development of the country in the new era, the era of national growth./.
