Import-export tax collection in Hai Duong exceeds 52% of estimate for the first time

Hai Duong Customs officers apply information technology to promptly disseminate new customs policies and mechanisms, and remove obstacles in customs clearance procedures.

With a revenue of over VND 4,140 billion as of December 17, for the first time, import and export tax on goods at Hai Duong Customs Branch exceeded the assigned budget revenue estimate by more than 52% and increased by 45% compared to 2023.

Since the beginning of the year, the unit has processed over 473,500 import and export declarations, an increase of nearly 20% over the same period last year, with a total turnover of nearly 17.866 billion USD.

Since the beginning of the year, Hai Duong Customs Branch has continued to promote administrative procedure reform and customs modernization, especially strongly applying information technology to professional stages to facilitate and further shorten customs clearance time, reducing costs for businesses.
