Import-export tax collection in the first quarter in Hai Duong increased by more than 78%

In the first quarter of 2025, Hai Duong Customs collected more than 1,300 billion VND in import and export taxes, reaching over 33.3% of the annual estimate and increasing by more than 78% over the same period last year.

Also in the first quarter, Hai Duong Customs processed 126,229 import-export declarations, up 17.6%. Import-export turnover reached 4 billion 698 million USD, up nearly 21% over the same period in 2024.

Some economies are recovering, which is helping businesses get more export orders. Many businesses in Hai Duong province have initially had favorable conditions in exporting and importing goods.

In the first quarter of 2025, the turnover of the group of 10 large import-export enterprises of the province reached about 1 billion 400 million USD, accounting for nearly 30% of the total import-export turnover of the whole province. Enterprises that continue to have stable import-export turnover growth include the following LLCs: Brother Vietnam Industry, Sumidenso Vietnam, Hyundai Kefico Vietnam, Ford Vietnam, May Tinh Loi, etc.
