Thu Minh speaks out when criticized for being rude to diva Thanh Lam

(Dan Tri) - On the stage of the show "Our Songs", Thu Minh threw a tray of props in front of diva Thanh Lam, causing the audience to think that she was disrespectful and rude to her senior.

In episode 12 of Our Song Vietnam - Our Song on VTV on the evening of November 18, Thanh Lam and Orange performed on the Ao Moi Ca Mau stage with a hip hop mix with many surprises.

The performance was well received by the audience thanks to the investment in sound, lighting, and Broadway-style performance (professional stage) with the support of a large cast of dancers. Thanh Lam especially "played big" when swinging on a high rope.

At the end of the performance, Thanh Lam challenged her juniors to perform a spinning tray dance challenge. Thu Minh confidently stepped onto the stage to perform. After that, she told Thanh Lam: "Sister, in 4 years at the Dance School, I learned these things so poorly" and threw the tray on the floor.

Diva Thanh Lam replied: "I only studied for half a day, it took you 4 years". Thu Minh continued: "I studied a lot in four years of dance school. This is just a few seconds out of hundreds of dance lessons I had to learn...".

After the show aired, the audience had mixed opinions about Thu Minh's action of throwing the tray on the floor.

"The act of throwing the tray on the floor is offensive, rude and unprofessional"; "Thu Minh's attitude is really uncultured"; "Everything should be moderate, keeping to the standards, throwing props will ruin the image and offend the viewers",... are the comments left for Thu Minh on the program's fanpage.

In response to public opinion, Thu Minh spoke up to explain that the program had been edited so it could easily cause misunderstandings.

"I create drama and entertain everyone a little, why is it so difficult? I was rude or do you love me, I respectfully invite you to watch the first few episodes again. In this episode, Thanh Lam and I pushed the dramatic content to make the show more fun. I hope everyone understands and is less negative," Thu Minh said.

Previously, in episode 11 of the show, Thanh Lam and Thu Minh performed the mashup (a term used to refer to combining two or more unrelated songs into a complete piece of music) Love 2000 - Don't keep what you have, don't look for what you lose.

However, their singing also left many controversial opinions, many audiences criticized both of them for being out of place, singing like a "fight" in the harmony.

But there are also comments defending the performance, saying that the performance has many segments, sometimes high and low, sometimes gentle, and gradually moves to a new climax to express the emotions of the song.
