Agree on the policy to implement the wastewater treatment plan in Tra Ka residential area

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee agreed in principle to allow the People's Committee of Bac Tra My district to implement a wastewater treatment plan for the Tra Ka Commune Residential Arrangement Area project using a 5-compartment Bastaf tank (in addition to anaerobic treatment tanks, there is an additional design to filter and disinfect wastewater) to ensure wastewater treatment meets standards before being discharged into the environment.

The water treatment plan is being implemented while waiting for connection to the centralized wastewater collection and treatment system according to the general construction plan (1/5,000) of Tra Ka commune, period up to 2030, approved by the People's Committee of Bac Tra My district in Decision No. 2414.

The People's Committee of Bac Tra My district is responsible for preparing all relevant documents and procedures for implementation according to regulations; regularly monitoring and supervising treated wastewater to ensure it meets prescribed standards before being discharged into the environment; at the same time, reviewing, researching, and proposing to competent authorities to consider and prioritize capital allocation to promptly deploy investment and complete construction of the framework technical infrastructure.

This includes a centralized wastewater collection and treatment system for urban and rural areas according to planning orientation to create motivation to attract investment, develop urban areas, and ensure environmental protection requirements.

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Department of Construction and related sectors and units, according to their assigned functions and tasks, are responsible for monitoring, guiding and supervising the People's Committee of Bac Tra My district during the implementation process.
