Phu Thanh village has a natural area of 168.8 hectares, 137 households, 490 people, agricultural laborers account for about 85%. In economic development and sustainable poverty reduction, Phu Thanh people focus on renovating mixed gardens, building many production and livestock models towards commodities for high economic efficiency. The whole village has 36 production, business and service establishments; 100% of households use electricity for lighting and have audio-visual equipment, participate in health insurance, use clean and hygienic water; 100% of school-age students go to school, no dropouts.
The average income per capita of the village reached 27.5 million VND/person/year; by the end of 2023, Phu Thanh still had 3 poor households according to multidimensional standards and 7 near-poor households, with no more temporary houses.

On August 19, 2024, Dakrong District People's Committee issued Decision No. 2343/QD-UBND recognizing Phu Thanh village as meeting NTM standards in a particularly disadvantaged commune in 2023.

Speaking at the ceremony, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Ly Kieu Van praised and congratulated the results of building the new rural area of Phu Thanh village, and hoped that Dakrong district, Mo O commune in general and Phu Thanh village in particular would promote the good traditions and achievements, continue to encourage people to strengthen the strength of great solidarity, and successfully complete the political, economic, cultural and social tasks of the locality.
Promote patriotic emulation movements among the people; encourage and motivate advanced models, outstanding collectives and individuals, creating new motivation for emulation. Continue to mobilize resources from the community to care for and help the poor and those in especially difficult circumstances; promote the spirit of mutual love and support, help each other in economic development, production and business experience, and legal enrichment.
At the same time, promoting revolutionary traditions, cultural identity, the strength of great solidarity, and determination to build Phu Thanh village, Mo O commune and all residential areas in Dakrong district to become increasingly prosperous and beautiful.
