Moc Chau Town (Son La) is one of the most attractive destinations in the North. According to local tourism workers, this year the favorable weather has helped the plum blossoms bloom more beautifully than in previous years, so the number of visitors coming to visit and take pictures has also increased dramatically.
Data provided by the Department of Culture and Information of Moc Chau town shows that from January 25 to February 2 (26 to 5 of Tet), the total number of visitors to Moc Chau was 105,000, with estimated revenue of about 136.5 billion VND.

Sharing with Dan Tri reporters, service providers in Moc Chau said that their income during this period increased 2-3 times compared to last year thanks to the positive number of customers.
Mr. Bui Van Hiep, a photographer who specializes in taking photos for customers, revealed that this time is considered the "harvest season" for photographers.
The number of visitors flocking here is crowded every day, not just on weekends. Therefore, experienced photographers have a very tight shooting schedule. Some even have to turn down dozens of customers every day.
"Perhaps this year the plum blossoms are blooming the most beautifully of all the years I have taken photos for guests in Moc Chau from 2019 until now.
My team has 3 brothers supporting, but everyone is overloaded by customers calling and texting to schedule photo shoots continuously. Many days we have to eat and reply to messages to customers at the same time, but still can't keep up," Hiep shared.

However, the photographer born in 1990 could not hide his pride when revealing that his job is true to his passion, so he is tired but still happy.
During this period, his income was usually between 5 and 6 million VND/day. If he worked hard, he could receive a salary of more than 200 million VND/month.
Working hard taking photos for family groups since morning, Ngoc Anh, a photographer, said that on weekends he usually takes on 5 shifts with tight schedules from morning to night.
There are 2 shifts in the morning, 1 shift at noon and 2 shifts in the afternoon, each shift lasts about 2 hours. If he works hard, he earns about 6-8 million VND per day on average.
According to Dan Tri reporter's research, Moc Chau currently has about 30 photographers and they are all in high demand this time. The prices will be divided into many groups.
Individual guests cost from 1.2 to 1.8 million VND. Family guests for 2 adults and 2 children cost 1.8 to 2 million VND. Groups of 10 or more people cost 3 to 4 million VND. Each session usually lasts about 2 hours.
The shooting time is from 7am to 5pm. The best time of day is from 9am to 10am and from 3pm to 5pm. This is also the time when most customers book appointments.

Ms. Hoai Thuong, a makeup artist working in Moc Chau since 2020, has noticed that this year the number of bookings has increased sharply compared to previous years. The time for each customer to paint their face is about an hour. Each day, this makeup artist works on a maximum of 8 to 10 customers at a price of 200,000 VND - 400,000 VND/person.
According to a local tour guide, this is also the period when Moc Chau receives the most visitors of the year, so there may be cases of taking advantage of the crowds to commit fraud. Therefore, tourists should be careful when choosing and paying for services by prepaid transfer.
Coming to Moc Chau at this time, visitors feel like they are lost in a fairyland with plum blossom forests covering the hills and valleys, creating a poetic scene.
