The final round of Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 is taking place in Ho Chi Minh City.
This is a contest to find a Vietnamese representative to participate in the international beauty pageant Miss Grand International taking place at the end of this year.
After the important rounds, the top 5 best contestants entered the behavioral round.
Le Thi Hong Hanh stuttered when she was the first contestant to answer a question in the top 5 of Miss Grand Vietnam 2023.
Le Thi Hong Hanh (candidate number 314) from Thai Binh was the first contestant to take the behavioral test. She drew the question: "What do you think about tolerance and forgiveness in today's life?".
Le Thi Hong Hanh stuttered and lost her composure before answering. "Today I am not the best candidate. However, the applause and encouragement from everyone here is already a form of tolerance and forgiveness for me."
Truong Qui Minh Nhan answered bilingually in the behavioral round.
Contestant Truong Qui Minh Nhan (candidate number 158) from Thua Thien Hue was asked the question: "When talking about your hometown, what makes you most proud?".
She chose to answer bilingually. Talking about her hometown, Truong Qui Minh Nhan mentioned beef noodle soup, rice paper rolls and the Huong River, which made Hoang Phu Ngoc Tuong fall in love.
However, what she is most proud of is that Hue people in particular and Vietnamese people in general are known for their tolerance, forgiveness and compassion.
Le Hoang Phuong answered confidently and fluently in the top 5's response section.
Le Hoang Phuong from Khanh Hoa entered the behavioral round amid enthusiastic cheers from the audience. She drew a question related to child rearing.
"To me, children are a reflection of their parents. The behavior of parents will be shown by the next generation.
It is a sad reality that there are parents who do not hesitate to make negative comments to children who are their own age. This is a big problem that we need to acknowledge.
We have to think what if those children were our children? More importantly, our children hurt others.
The best way for a child to develop is for adults to build a civilized, healthy, understanding, disciplined and ethical society," Le Hoang Phuong confidently said on stage.
Bui Khanh Linh answers behavioral questions about the story of Vu Lan season of filial piety.
Contestant Bui Khanh Linh from Bac Giang answered a question about the story of Vu Lan season of filial piety.
She confidently expressed: "Today I stand here, I want to tell you that I will try my best on your journey.
On Vu Lan, I hope that the mothers out there will be healthy to accompany us. On the occasion of the August Revolution, I would also like to thank the heroic Vietnamese mothers who have been the torch to dispel the darkness, bringing peace to the country."
Dang Hoang Tam Nhu in the behavioral round.
Dang Hoang Tam Nhu was the last contestant to enter the behavioral round. She drew the question: "What do you think about neighborly relationships in modern life?".
The beauty from Thua Thien Hue believes that this is a seemingly simple but very important issue.
"This is a normal but extremely important issue. It reflects the reality that people are gradually becoming insensitive, gradually limiting contact because of conflicts, social dangers and especially the violence of words.
We all make mistakes at some point. If we keep judging, not giving others a chance to correct their mistakes, not giving them confidence, they will become more and more closed off from society, not continuing to believe in life.
I stand here and want to tell you that we need to raise our awareness to believe in ourselves more, to share love and understanding because no one deserves to be left behind in this world," she said.
