This year, the Ministry of Education and Training has adjusted the application form to facilitate candidates, to avoid confusion and omissions. Specifically, candidates only need to register according to the admission code (school, group of majors, majors or programs), without having to register according to the combination and code of the admission method. The system will base on the candidate's test score data to consider admission.

In particular, candidates who are eligible for admission by early admission methods must continue to register and adjust their wishes on the Ministry of Education and Training system to be processed according to the national process, from which the final admission results will be available. If they do not register on the system, candidates are considered to have given up their right to be admitted to that major or school. Once their names are on the list of candidates eligible for early admission methods, which are posted on the system by training institutions, if candidates choose and want to be sure of being admitted to that major, candidates need to register that major in their first choice.
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy, Director of the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training) noted that candidates need to carefully study the instruction documents and must correctly, fully, and completely follow the registration process.
For candidates who participate in early admission and have been conditionally admitted, training institutions are responsible for updating the results on the system so that students can proactively choose the order of their wishes when registering for admission.
According to the Director of the Department of Higher Education, candidates should not register too many wishes but should not register too few. In particular, never register only one wish to avoid risks.
Candidates need to make smart choices, should boldly register their favorite wishes, with the majors they are passionate about coming first.
This is very important because it will affect your future. Once you have been admitted to your first choice, even if you do not enroll, you will not be considered for your second, third, or fourth choices…
By July 25 at the latest, universities must update information on the minimum scores for admission based on high school graduation exam scores.
For the health and teacher training sectors, the Ministry of Education and Training will announce the threshold to ensure input quality on July 25 so that schools in this sector can set the score to receive application documents. Before 5:00 p.m. on July 26, schools training teachers and health sectors will set the minimum score for candidates to register their wishes.
At the end of the registration and adjustment period, from July 31 to 5:00 p.m. on August 6, candidates must pay the admission fee according to the number of registered wishes online according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Candidates who are eligible for regional and target priority policies must coordinate with reception points to review information on the candidate's regional and target priority policies (if any).
This year, the whole country has more than one million candidates taking the high school graduation exam, of which more than 917,000 candidates use the exam results to both graduate and apply for university admission.
