Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online , Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh - Director of the Center for Testing and Assessment of Training Quality of Ho Chi Minh City National University - said that the total number of candidates registered for the second round of the competency assessment exam was 40,455. The total number of candidates taking the exam on the morning of June 2 was 39,034, with 1,421 absent, reaching a rate of 96.48%.
Previously, in the first round of the competency assessment exam, there were 93,831 candidates taking the exam out of a total of 95,549 registered candidates, reaching a rate of up to 98.2%.
In total, this year, the Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment exam had 132,865 candidates, the highest number in recent years.
According to records at the testing sites after the exam this morning, most candidates said the exam was quite easy.

At the exam site of the University of Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University), many candidates after completing the exam praised the exam for having many creative questions, stimulating thinking and were confident that they would get high scores.
Candidate Nam Anh, a student at Nguyen Khuyen High School (HCMC), calculated that he could score 800 points in the second round of the exam. "I feel that this year's exam is highly classified, I think I can do about 70% of the exam," Nam Anh said.
Candidate Thai Dinh Bao was excited after finishing the exam. Bao assessed that this year's exam was within his ability after studying carefully beforehand. Bao's goal is also to enter the University of Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University).
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh said the results of the second round of competency assessment exams will be announced before June 10.
