Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade: Recruiting 4 additional majors

The Admissions Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade has just issued a notice of additional admission for 4 regular university training majors in 2024.

Accordingly, the school accepts additional applications in 4 ways.

1. High school graduation exam scores in 2024, scores to receive applications from 17 and above for all majors.
2. Use high school academic results of grades 10, 11 and semester 1 of grade 12; score to receive application is from 20 or higher.
3. Ho Chi Minh City National University's 2024 aptitude test score, from 600 points or higher.
4. Direct admission and priority direct admission according to the school's own project, receiving application level from 24 and up.

Additional admission majors at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade include: seafood processing technology, chemical engineering technology, environmental engineering technology, textile technology. Application deadline is 5:00 p.m. on August 30.

Vietnam-Germany University: Recruiting 9 additional majors

On the afternoon of August 28, Vietnam-Germany University also issued a notice of full-time university enrollment in 2024. Accordingly, the school will recruit 240 additional students for 9 majors according to 4 enrollment methods.

1. The admission method based on high school academic results only applies to candidates who graduated from high schools in Vietnam in the year of admission; Admission is based on high school transcripts of grades 10, 11 and semester 1 of grade 12. The average score for receiving applications is from 7.0 to 8.0 depending on the major. The deadline for receiving applications for this method is September 8.
2. Direct admission method, application deadline is September 15. The school directly admits candidates with excellent academic achievements including: members of the national team participating in the International Olympic/International Science and Technology Conference (ISEF); winners of national or provincial/municipal high school excellent student competitions; winners of national science and technology competitions. Candidates who are excellent students in grades 10, 11 and semester 1 of grade 12 and at the same time have an international English certificate IELTS academic score of 6.0 or higher or equivalent; or an average English score of grades 10, 11 and semester 1 of grade 12 from 8.5 or higher are also eligible for direct admission.
3. Admission method is based on international high school diploma/certificate, application deadline is September 15. Specifically, candidates must have an international high school diploma (IBD, A-Level combined with AS-Level or IGCSE, WACE, SACE...); or an international academic ability test certificate (TestAS, SAT, ACT). International high school diploma is recognized according to the school's admission regulations.
4. Admission method is based on high school graduation exam results, accepting applications until September 8. The school considers the total score of 3 subjects according to the subject combination corresponding to the major the candidate registers for with a score of 18-22 depending on the major.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics: Recruiting additional majors at the branch

The Admissions Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (UEH) announced additional admissions for regular university training programs in 2024 at Vinh Long Branch. Accordingly, the time to start receiving applications is from today (August 28) to 5:00 p.m. on September 27.

Accordingly, the school recruits 100 additional quotas for the following majors: 5 quotas for business English, 10 quotas for tax, 25 quotas for technology and innovation, 25 quotas for robotics and artificial intelligence, 25 quotas for agricultural business, and 10 quotas for hotel management.

The school enrolls students in two ways:

1. Method 1 considers the learning process according to the subject combination (25% of the target). With this method, students with an average score of the subject combination (A00, A01, D01, D07) register for admission from 6.5 or higher calculated based on the year of grade 10, grade 11 and semester 1 of grade 12 of the high school program in the form of regular education and high school graduation.
2. Method 2: Admission is based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam according to the exam score/subject according to the admission subject group (for the remaining quota).

For example, Ho Chi Minh City Open University is considering adding 6 majors that the school grants degrees with an admission score of 16 or higher (quota from 15-30 depending on the major) and many majors that partner schools grant degrees.

Ton Duc Thang University enrolls students in many training programs according to 3 admission methods: admission based on high school academic results, admission based on 2024 high school graduation exam results, and admission based on 2024 competency assessment test results of Ho Chi Minh City National University.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment also announced an additional recruitment of 360 students based on the results of the high school graduation exam. In the method of considering high school transcripts, the school will recruit an additional 285 students. The time to receive applications for both methods is from August 28 to 5:00 p.m. on September 12.

Vietnam Aviation Academy and Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport also recruit additional majors.
