Kinhtedothi - Implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, the Youth Union and young people have demonstrated their pioneering role through the implementation of many practical and effective models.
Widely deploy the movement "Digital Education for All"
According to First Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, Chairman of the National Committee on Vietnamese Youth Bui Quang Huy, after the Politburo issued Resolution 57-NQ/TW, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee issued Action Program No. 20 to concretize the contents of the Resolution, including 5 major tasks and 57 groups of specific tasks and solutions.
Notably, the group of solutions to promote digital transformation, application of science and technology in the Youth Union organization system, in the learning and production process of youth union members; support for young people in scientific research, application of science and technology, innovative startups and digital transformation in learning, working, production and business; promote the role of young people in science and technology, digital transformation.
To implement this group of solutions, the Central Youth Union is deploying many applications related to national and youth digital transformation with movements being launched such as: "Digital literacy for the masses", "Digital learning"... This is also the key content in Youth Month 2025.
Chairman of the National Committee on Vietnamese Youth Bui Quang Huy said that to implement the movement, all levels of the Youth Union and Association across the country will organize propaganda and raise awareness among all classes of people, union members, association members and young people about the "Digital Literacy" movement.
At the same time, establish "Digital Popularization" teams with young people as the core, suitable to the actual conditions of the locality and unit; each Youth Union and Association base establishes at least 1 "Digital Popularization" team and organizes "Digital Popularization" classes in person or online in the community, youth, etc.
The Central Youth Union organizes pilot models in areas with special conditions (densely populated areas; remote areas, ethnic minority areas, border areas, islands; industrial zones; areas lacking technological infrastructure...).
Demonstrate a core and pioneering role in digital transformation
According to statistics from the Central Youth Union, in the first two weeks of Youth Month, Youth Union and Association chapters at all levels nationwide maintained and deployed 4,168 new "Digital Literacy for the People" volunteer youth teams with young people as the core; organized 2,239 activities to support training and popularize digital skills for 424,246 people.
Notably, during Youth Month, the Vietnam Association of Disabled Youth launched the “Digital Popular Education” movement for disabled youth through the support of Microsoft and the artificial intelligence tool Copilot. The method to implement the “Digital Popular Education” model will be “lifelong learning”. Experts will train the most basic, practical, and easiest-to-apply things in work and life for potential disabled youth.
Through the program, after being trained, disabled youth will continue to self-study, improve their skills, and update new content on digital platforms. After that, disabled youth will go to training and share knowledge with their community.
In Hanoi, Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Chu Hong Minh said that, implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW, these days, many Youth Union units have launched the "Digital Education for the People" team to support the Hanoi City Public Administration Service Center located in the area. This activity demonstrates the pioneering and volunteering spirit of the capital's youth in supporting people to access and apply digital technology in their lives, in response to the urgent need to improve digital skills in the community.
In the first 3 weeks of Youth Month, the Youth Union and Associations of Hanoi City have deployed 86 volunteer youth teams for "Digital Education for All" and 78 activities to popularize digital skills for more than 15,000 people. The Youth Union units focused on digital transformation activities in all aspects of work, especially propaganda and education of union members, youth and children; making the most of the advantages of modern communication tools and media, social networks in attracting, gathering, orienting and educating youth and children. Thereby, affirming the pioneering and creative role of the capital's youth in participating in the national digital transformation process, contributing to building Hanoi into a "Smart City", leading the country in transformation.
At the dialogue conference with young people held on March 24, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged that in recent times, Vietnamese youth have affirmed their pioneering role in developing science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation with such marks as: breakthroughs in learning, research and technology development; the startup and innovation movement has been promoted; actively participating in the national digital transformation process through participating in digital skills training courses, improving the ability to access new technologies; actively transforming digitally in volunteer activities.
To further promote the pioneering role of the youth force, the Prime Minister suggested that Vietnamese youth promote the spirit of pioneering, creativity, and initiative in developing science and technology, innovation, and national digital transformation. In particular, focusing on being proactive in studying, scientific research, applying technology, and digital transformation; proactively contributing initiatives, opinions, suggestions, participating in perfecting institutions, improving the investment, business, and startup environment.
