The program is a practical activity to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Border Guard Tradition Day (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2024), the 35th anniversary of National Border Guard Day (March 3, 1989 - March 3, 2024), the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024) and Youth Month 2024.

The Youth Union of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism directed the Youth Union of the Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio to coordinate with the A Mu Sung Border Guard Station to implement the program "March Border" 2024.

Speaking at the program, Comrade Le Minh Duc, Acting Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said: "The program is organized to propagate and educate union members and young people of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism about the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and generations of Vietnamese youth in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; at the same time, promote the spirit of vanguard and volunteerism of young people in participating in socio-economic development, strengthening national defense and security, contributing to further tightening the solidarity between union members, youth members and officers, soldiers of the Border Guard (BĐBP) and people in border areas".

Comrade Nguyen Quang Tuan, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Documentary and Scientific Film Studio Company, praised the initiative and spirit of mutual love of the members and youth of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, especially the Documentary and Scientific Film Studio Youth Union, and hoped that the gifts from the working delegation would bring spiritual value and encouragement to families in difficult circumstances in the area. He also thanked the comrades at the A Mu Sung Border Guard Station for their attention and creating conditions for the working delegation to successfully organize the program.

A Mu Sung Commune is located in the far north of Bat Xat District, Lao Cai Province, and is home to the Mong, Dao, and Ha Nhi people. This place not only marks the heroic history of the Border Guard soldiers who fought bravely and sacrificed to protect every inch of the sacred land of the Fatherland, but is also a witness to the strong and enduring relationship between the army and the people.

Comrade Le Minh Duc - Acting Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism spoke at the March Border Program.

Accompanying the Organizing Committee are business units and philanthropists. Thong Nhat Hanoi Joint Stock Company donated 10 bicycles to disadvantaged students in the area, Gcool Company donated 15 ceiling fans to disadvantaged families; along with many gifts of necessities such as: rice, cooking oil, MSG, milk... sent by the Organizing Committee to the families of martyrs and adopted children of border guards.

The program is an opportunity for the youth of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to turn to the national border, participate in practical and meaningful activities, express their love for their homeland and country and the responsibility of the youth towards the sovereignty and security of the national border. Within the framework of the program, the delegation offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs of A Mu Sung Border Post; visited Lung Po Flagpole Memorial House; visited, encouraged and exchanged cultural activities with officers and soldiers of A Mu Sung Border Post.
