Establishing 3 public schools in Tan Binh, enrolling students in July

The People's Committee of Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City has just announced the decision to establish 3 new public schools, which will start operating from the 2024-2025 school year and enroll students in July.

These are Son Ca Kindergarten, Hung Vuong Primary School and Mac Dinh Chi Secondary School; built according to national standard school standards with a total cost of over 1,150 billion VND from the city budget. This cluster of 3 schools is located on a public works land area of ​​over 50,000 ^m2 in Ward 6, Tan Binh District.

Head of the Department of Education and Training of Tan Binh District, Mr. Phan Van Quang, said that all three new schools will operate according to the orientation of advanced schools - international integration. However, in the 2024-2025 school year, all three schools will collect tuition fees like other normal public schools. According to the process, when the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has a decision to recognize the above three schools as meeting advanced - international integration standards, then the district will consider collecting tuition fees according to the advanced - integration model.

The leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Tan Binh District said that these 3 schools will organize enrollment for the first grade classes in July. The construction of the 3 schools will be completed and put into use on April 30, 2025 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

From now until April 30, 2025, students of Mac Dinh Chi Secondary School and Hung Vuong Primary School will study at the Department of Education and Training of Tan Binh District (97B Truong Chinh); students of Son Ca Kindergarten will temporarily study at Kindergarten 12.

Son Ca Kindergarten has an area of ​​6,348.5 ^m2 , structure of 1 ground floor, 3 floors with 20 classrooms, functional rooms, kitchen, capacity of 700 students. The school enrolls 3 kindergarten classes for 3 years old and 3 kindergarten classes for 4 years old.

Hung Vuong Primary School has a structure of 1 ground floor, 3 floors with 30 classrooms, full of functional rooms, and a multi-purpose gymnasium for more than 1,000 students.
