On the evening of June 13, Vietnam International Fashion Week 2024 opened at Military Zone 7 Gymnasium (HCMC).

Designer Vo Cong Khanh continues to take on the role of opening the show with the collection Masterpiece of Water .

On the opening night, fashionistas also had the opportunity to admire the Ngan Nga collection by designer Adrian Anh Tuan and the Dragon collection by designer Maria Giovanna Costa from Italy.

Inspired by the pure beauty of water, Vo Cong Khanh breathes life into the Masterpieces of Water collection with a multi-dimensional perspective, full of vitality as water is indispensable.

Notably, he uses waste and scrap fabrics as the main materials for his collection. From there, he recreates, combines, and creates new materials for his designs, contributing to reducing the waste of industrial waste in the fashion industry.

In addition, Vo Cong Khanh also combines dyeing, printing, embroidery, manual embellishment, and arrangement techniques to create vivid 3D block structures.

However, the designs are mainly for show.

Mac Trung Kien and Huynh Tu Anh appeared as the opening acts. Taking the vedette position was model Thanh Hang. She wore a dress meticulously designed from environmentally friendly materials and performed with charisma.

Designer Adrian Anh Tuan returns to the stage to celebrate a decade of Vietnam International Fashion Week with the Ngan Nga collection.

He also used eco-friendly materials such as silk for this collection. Especially recycled materials from oyster shells and coffee grounds.

Runner-up Le Hang wore a dress made of flowing silk, and runner-up Kim Duyen wore a see-through black silk two-strap dress.

Adrian Anh Tuan conveys a message of creativity and innovation when combining romantic love and the beauty of nature.

Patterns imbued with Vietnamese culture such as the turtle tower of Hoan Kiem Lake, lotus images, conical hats, traditional patterns of the Central Highlands people... are boldly included in the collection.

Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 Bui Quynh Hoa performed the opening act and the vedette was The Face Vietnam 2023 champion Huynh Tu Anh.

Huynh Tu Anh wore a see-through lace dress decorated with roses and sparkling stones for the final performance.

The second night of Vietnam International Fashion Week 2024 took place on the evening of June 14 with performances by designers: Thuy Nguyen, Ly Giam Tien, Nguyen Chi Nghia, Le Minh Ngoc and Frederick Lee (Singapore).
