On the evening of October 13, for the first time, designer Do Manh Cuong introduced his new collection at Shanghai Fashion Week Spring - Summer 2025.
69 new designs were presented by 39 models and beauties. The designer wanted to inspire the unique personalities of women and fashionistas, and to encourage beauty beyond conventional frameworks. Fashion will help women “draw” their own portraits.
Besides the models in Shanghai, the show also featured Vietnamese beauties such as supermodel Thanh Hang, beauty queen H'Hen Nie, Khanh Van, Ngoc Chau, supermodel Minh Tu, runner-up Vu Thuy Quynh, runner-up Quynh Anh and beauty Ha Kino.
Miss H'Hen Nie opened the show with an impressive fringe design and an elaborate red dress. Thanh Hang played the role of vedette, wearing a 15kg gold dress, which was shaped by Do Manh Cuong with an asymmetrical structure.
Miss Khanh Van, Ngoc Chau... performed impressive designs, although sometimes having difficulty walking, they still conquered the audience with confidence.
Many designs take hundreds of hours to make by hand. He uses similar color combinations to create depth or contrasts to create a strong visual impact. Stripes, large 3D flowers, polka dots combined with flowers... create highlights for the outfit.
