(GLO)- On June 10, at A village (Gao commune, Pleiku city, Gia Lai province), Pleiku City Youth Union coordinated with the Provincial Police Youth Union, Division 320 (Army Corps 3), and Gao Commune People's Committee to launch the 2023 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.

Attending the launching ceremony were leaders of Pleiku City Youth Union, Provincial Police Youth Union, Division 320, Gao Commune People's Committee and more than 200 union members, youth, volunteers and people.
In the 2023 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign (from June 10 to August 31), Pleiku City Youth Union set 15 targets: Mobilize at least 5,000 union members and young people to participate in volunteer activities implemented by the Youth Union. Plant at least 10,000 new trees. Mobilize union members and young people to propose 100 ideas and initiatives. Each commune, ward, and high school introduces at least 3 outstanding union members to the Party, and admits at least 1 new party member from the introduced outstanding union members. Build a "house of love" for the Youth Union Secretary.
Support at least 12 disadvantaged 12th grade students in the 2023 high school graduation exam. Support at least 1 creative youth startup project. Launch at least 10 electronic neighborhood models, electronic residential areas in communes and wards of the city. Each commune and ward supports at least 300 people to perform online public services, install VneID app, electronic money payment app...

At the launching ceremony, Pleiku City Youth Union and Division 320 started building a charity house for Ms. Siu Suen - Secretary of the Youth Union of Village A; the project has an area of 50m2 and is worth 60 million VND. The Green Road Club (Can Tho City) and the Loving Arms Club (Pleiku City) presented 10,000 cotton trees to Pleiku City Youth Union.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, Pleiku City Youth Union and Provincial Police Youth Union launched the "Green March" campaign to plant 6,000 trees in the Ia Muer and Ia Hleo forests in Gao commune.
