Through trade connections, Ms. Nguyet has received many orders from agents, distributors, and stores selling OCOP products in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi , and Vung Tau.
“Trade has helped my cajeput oil products improve both in appearance and quality, expanding market access,” said Ms. Nguyet.
Currently, in Thang Binh, there are 27 products recognized as 3-star OCOP, 4 products recognized as 4-star OCOP, 10 products recognized as typical rural industrial products at the district level; 8 products recognized as typical rural industrial products at the provincial level.
Along with supporting investment in advanced machinery and equipment, Thang Binh guides businesses and business establishments to apply digital technology and participate in e-commerce to strengthen connections and expand markets.

Thang Binh District People's Committee has built a website to introduce products, designed data management software and traceability for OCOP facilities and rural industries.
Production establishments and businesses have actively participated in promoting and distributing local products through e-commerce and online transactions to boost supply and diversify markets.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Huy - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thang Binh district, to create momentum for trade development, from 2021 to present, the district continues to invest in building, upgrading, and improving Do Do market (Binh Que), Binh Tri market, Binh Lanh commune central market, and Binh Nam market.
Thang Binh has reviewed and adjusted the locations of some markets to new suitable locations to expand the area and promote trade in localities such as Lac Cau market (Binh Duong commune), Ha Chau market (Binh Phu commune), Binh Dao market. Thanks to increased purchasing power, many convenience stores and mini supermarkets have been invested in by people in a civilized and modern direction, meeting more consumer needs in the area.
“Promoting investment in the Central Highlands - Central region agricultural and livestock wholesale market in the western Thang Binh region is a major task of the district. This is also a strong movement for trade development in the area,” said Mr. Huy.
