Up to now, Mitsubishi Xpander is still the best-selling car model in the 7-seat MPV segment in Vietnam and is better than 3 Toyota models combined, being the only MPV model in the top 10 best-selling cars last month.

According to the report of the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association, the Vietnamese automobile market in May has shown signs of improvement. In all segments, leading models have improved in sales compared to the first months of the year. In the 7-seat MPV segment, Mitsubishi Xpander has maintained stable monthly sales in the Vietnamese market and last May was no exception. Up to now, Mitsubishi Xpander is still the model that absolutely dominates the 7-seat MPV segment in Vietnam. Specifically, Mitsubishi Motor Vietnam has sold a total of 1,171 Mitsubishi Xpander cars to domestic customers. Thereby, Mitsubishi Xpander firmly established its leading position with sales in the first 5 months of the year of 6,699 cars, accounting for nearly half of the market share of the MPV segment. Notably, Mitsubishi Xpander also sold better than 3 direct competitors including Toyota Innova, Veloz Cross, Avanza Premio. Toyota Veloz Cross is Xpander's biggest competitor, but in May 2023, it only sold 590 vehicles, down 67 vehicles compared to the previous month. Accumulated since the beginning of the year, Veloz Cross has sold 3,640 vehicles to Vietnamese customers. As for Toyota Innova, this car had sales of 205 vehicles in May, cumulatively from the beginning of the year to date reaching 995 vehicles sold. Meanwhile, Toyota Avanza Premio recorded the lowest sales with 203 vehicles sold in May 2023. The total sales of Toyota Innova, Veloz Cross, Avanza Premio combined were 998 vehicles, which is still 173 vehicles less than Mitsubishi Xpander in May 2023. In the next positions, Hyundai Stargazer sold 273 vehicles, and since the beginning of the year, 1,727 Stargazer vehicles have been delivered to customers. Suzuki XL7 had sales of 215 vehicles in May and a total of 1,239 vehicles sold since the beginning of the year. 
First launched in 2018, after 5 years, Mitsubishi Xpander has achieved record sales with more than 80,000 vehicles delivered to Vietnamese customers. The above figures help Mitsubishi Xpander firmly establish its leading position in the 7-seat MPV segment and continuously be one of the models leading in monthly sales in the entire market. Mitsubishi Xpander suits users' tastes when it is highly appreciated for its eye-catching, youthful and trendy design. This MPV has a spacious 7-seat space, good amenities in its price range, making it a favorite of users. 
Up to now, Mitsubishi Xpander is still the best-selling car model in the 7-seat MPV segment in Vietnam.
KIA Caren has sold 205 cars and 1,185 cars have been delivered to customers since its launch in the Vietnamese market.
