In the first 11 months, the province's industrial production index increased by 13.9% over the same period last year.
Some industries have large proportions, high production output, impact
much to the general index of the whole industry such as the motor vehicle manufacturing industry (mainly the production of auxiliary parts) increased by 13.1%, affecting the general index to increase by 3 points. Particularly for motor vehicle products, after the first months of the year when output decreased sharply, from the third quarter, the output of assembled vehicles recovered.
The electronics manufacturing industry grew by 12.4%, contributing to a 2.8 percentage point increase in the overall index.
The electrical equipment manufacturing industry increased by 42.6%, increasing the general index by 1.4 points. Of which, generator products increased by 127.2%. The trend of technological development in the digital age has increased the demand for electrical and electronic equipment globally, leading to an increase in export orders of the electrical and electronic equipment manufacturing industry.
The textile and garment industry increased by 23.3% and 13.2% respectively, causing the general index to increase by 1.1 points. In addition to the recovery of the international market, the expansion of factories by some enterprises such as Tinh Loi 3 project, Best Pacific Company Limited, and Ngan Tuong International Company Limited also contributed to increasing the industry's output.
The metal manufacturing industry increased by 16.6%, causing the general index to increase by 1 point. The reason is that the demand for civil construction and public investment projects has shown signs of increasing gradually since the second half of 2024, so Hoa Phat's construction steel consumption output in all three regions has increased. In addition, some enterprises expanding their factories also contributed to the growth of the industry, such as Dong A Aluminum Joint Stock Company and Shinyang Metal Vietnam Co., Ltd.
However, some industries still face difficulties due to slow recovery of market demand, output decreased compared to the same period, affecting the overall growth rate of the whole industry such as: production of non-metallic mineral products (cement, bricks and tiles) decreased by 6.2%, causing the general index to decrease by 0.1 points. Due to excess supply and difficult export markets, most cement, brick and tile manufacturing enterprises in the province had to stop kilns, reduce capacity and cut labor...
