Visit and give gifts on the traditional day of the elderly

On the occasion of the 82nd anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Elderly in Vietnam (June 6, 1941 - June 6, 2023), on June 2, Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council visited and presented gifts to the Representative Board of the Provincial Elderly Association; Mr. Le Duc Chanh, 90 years old in Quarter 3, Do Vinh Ward and Mr. Nguyen Tu Hung, 90 years old in Quarter 4, Thanh Son Ward (Phan Rang-Thap Cham City). Accompanying the delegation were leaders of the Provincial Women's Union; Provincial Party Committee Office; Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.

At the Provincial Elderly Association Representative Board, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee sent his congratulations to the Association members and the elderly in the province to always live happily, healthily and happily with their children and grandchildren; he hoped that the Provincial Elderly Association Representative Board would continue to propagate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws to each member and family to create consensus in society; he affirmed that the provincial leaders always pay attention to taking care of the health, material and spiritual life and ensuring timely policies and regimes for the elderly.

Visiting and congratulating Mr. Le Duc Chanh and Mr. Nguyen Tu Hung, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee wished them a happy and healthy life, to be a shining example for their children and grandchildren to follow; to continue to encourage their children and grandchildren to actively study, work, produce, and carry out patriotic emulation movements in the locality.

* On June 2, the leader of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province led the delegation to visit and present longevity gifts to the 90-year-olds: Truong Cong Hoi, Ward 4, Tan Son Town (Ninh Son) and Pi Nang Thi Bay, Tra Co 1 Village, Phuoc Tien Commune (Bac Ai). Also attending were representatives of the provincial Ethnic Committee, the provincial Farmers' Association and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

At the places visited, the delegation asked about the health, living conditions, and daily activities of the elderly and wished them good health and longevity, continuing to be a shining example in teaching their children and grandchildren to implement the Party's policies and the State's laws, encouraging their children and grandchildren to actively work in production, develop the economy , and build exemplary cultural families. At the same time, they hoped that the local authorities and their children and grandchildren would continue to care for, encourage, and create the best conditions for the elderly to live happily, healthily, and usefully.

* On the same day, the Provincial People's Committee delegation led by the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs visited and presented gifts to the elderly who turned 90 years old, including: Mr. Luong Ngoc Tuan in Go Thao village, Tan Hai commune; Vu Thi Nhung in Thanh Son village, Xuan Hai commune (Ninh Hai) and Pham Van Lich in My Nhon village, Bac Phong commune (Thuan Bac).
