Appraisal and recognition of Vinh Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district meeting advanced new rural standards

After nearly 7 years of implementing and carrying out the construction of advanced new rural areas, the Party Committee and the people's government of Vinh Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district have shown great determination, creativity and dynamism in directing and mobilizing total resources to build advanced new rural areas. In particular, the commune's rural infrastructure has been invested in and upgraded synchronously and spaciously, effectively serving the production and daily life of the local people.

Specifically, in the advanced NTM construction phase, the commune has invested over 60 billion VND to build 1.2 km of asphalt road, 4 high-rise schools, concrete traffic routes, build flag and tree model roads, build 8 hamlet cultural houses...

The forms of production organization are effective, the commune has exploited the potential for economic development such as greenhouse models, trade services... Average income per capita reaches nearly 56 million VND/year.

The face of the new rural area of Vinh Thanh commune is changing day by day, developing in all aspects. The commune strives to complete the criteria of the new rural area to develop in a sustainable direction.

After inspection and assessment, Ms. Vo Thi Nhung - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the working delegation acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements in the process of implementing the new rural construction of Vinh Thanh commune. Although there are still many difficulties, since implementing the new rural construction, Vinh Thanh commune has had quite comprehensive development, the material and spiritual life of the people has been improved.

The appraisal team assessed that all of Vinh Thanh commune’s advanced criteria were qualified, with the most notable being cultural facilities, schools, and the traffic system. The team suggested that the commune complete the criteria in the best way possible to reach the advanced new rural destination in the near future.
