Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Le Ngoc Linh, Deputy Director of the Department Thai Nguyen Province Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that Thai Nguyen is a land with beautiful natural landscapes, converging many valuable historical and cultural relics to develop many types of tourism to attract visitors.
The province has over 1,000 inventoried relics, including 1 relic ranked at the special national level with 13 relic sites; 57 relics ranked at the national level and 237 relics ranked at the provincial level; nearly 300 craft villages, over 230 OCOP products from 3 to 5 stars. Thai Nguyen has a rich and diverse ethnic composition. The ethnic groups still preserve many unique cultural features in their lives. To date, Thai Nguyen province has a total of 23 heritages included in the list of national intangible cultural heritages.

Thai Nguyen is also the cradle of revolution with "red addresses" attracting tourists to come back to learn about historical and cultural relics, archaeological sites, typically: Dinh Hoa National Special Relic Site; National Historical Relic Site of the Memorial Site of the Youth Volunteers of Company 915, Team 91 Bac Thai; Than Sa Archaeological Relic Site, Vo Nhai District... Thai Nguyen is also an attractive destination for eco-tourism and community tourism because this is a land of green mountains and blue water, cool and fresh climate with famous landscapes such as Nui Coc Lake, Ghenh Che Lake, Phuong Hoang Cave - Suoi Mo Ga, streams, waterfalls, beautiful and wild rocks on the eastern slope of Tam Dao, and poetic green tea hills.
Thai Nguyen is the province with the largest tea area and output in the country, with a total area of 22.2 thousand hectares and 267.5 thousand tons of fresh buds, known as "First Famous Tea".
Currently, Thai Nguyen province has been focusing on developing 04 main tourism product lines including: Cultural, spiritual, historical, and origin tourism; Ecological and resort tourism; Community and rural tourism associated with Tea culture; MICE tourism, sports, and adventure cave exploration. With attractive and unique tourism resources and special cultural values, it promises to bring visitors a complete experience journey with full colors of the land and people of Thai Nguyen.

This is a very meaningful event in the period when all levels, sectors and localities are actively and effectively implementing the spirit of Resolution No. 82/NQ-CP of the Government on key tasks and solutions to accelerate recovery and accelerate effective and sustainable tourism development and Directive 08/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on comprehensive, rapid and sustainable tourism development in the coming time, Deputy Director Nguyen Le Phuc emphasized.

Localities and functional sectors support travel businesses to promote bringing tourists to neighboring provinces and vice versa.
Localities within the region need to proactively connect, cooperate to build and introduce tourism products and mutual tourism stimulus packages in the direction of incentives, priorities, and support for the use of each other's services, and together promote the improvement of service quality for tourists.
Provinces and cities regularly cooperate and promote at domestic events; gradually promote and advertise tourism abroad to attract international visitors. Thai Nguyen Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism needs to continue to closely coordinate with localities to implement increasingly effective tourism development cooperation activities, aiming at two-way exchange of visitors, creating more markets for destinations.
At the Conference, leaders and delegates listened to representatives of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Tourism Association introduce a number of tour programs connecting Hanoi city, the Red River Delta provinces with Thai Nguyen and some neighboring provinces and cities.
During the program, a Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony between Thai Nguyen Tourism Association and Tourism Associations of provinces and cities: Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh and Hung Yen took place.
