Thai Binh organizes a series of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the traditional day of the health sector

Towards the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Health Sector (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025), Thai Binh organized a series of events to honor the important contributions of the medical staff, while affirming the strong development of the province's health sector in the new period.

On November 15, Thai Binh Department of Health held a meeting with press agencies to introduce activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the health sector's tradition (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025).

Mr. Pham Quang Hoa, Director of Thai Binh Department of Health spoke at the meeting.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Health reported on the remarkable results of the provincial health sector in public health care, and presented plans and directions for development in the coming time.

Mr. Pham Quang Hoa, Director of Thai Binh Department of Health shared that on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the health sector's tradition, the Department will implement a series of practical activities such as the emulation movement "Health sector 70 years following Uncle Ho's teachings", organizing the art performance "Song of the white-shirt soldiers" and scientific seminars and exhibitions on the health sector. The activities aim to honor the tireless contributions of generations of doctors and nurses, while raising public awareness of the essential role of the health sector in caring for and protecting people's health.

One of the highlights of the series of activities is the inauguration of important medical facilities such as Thai Binh City General Hospital, Quynh Phu General Hospital Technical Building and Hung Nhan General Hospital. These are modern medical facilities, contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, serving people in the province and neighboring areas.

In addition, cultural programs with the participation of medical staff throughout the province were organized to bring a vibrant and united atmosphere to the medical sector. The festival is not only an entertainment activity but also an opportunity for medical staff to show their talent, creativity and love for their profession.

Nearly 760 medical staff in Thai Binh enthusiastically participated in the sports competition to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the traditional medical sector .

Thai Binh Department of Health will also carry out many activities to encourage the spirit of medical units and excellent medical staff, through visiting and giving gifts to workers and doctors who have made great contributions to community health care.

The above meaningful series of activities will take place from now until the end of February 2025 and will be closely coordinated with functional units and branches in the province, to ensure the practicality and effectiveness of each program.

The anniversary program is not only an opportunity to review traditional values, but also for the health sector to recognize the achievements and face the remaining challenges. In the context of the development of modern health, the activities play an important role in reaffirming the development direction of the health sector, and at the same time redefining the key tasks in the coming period. From investing in infrastructure, equipment, to improving the quality of health services and medical staff.
