On the morning of January 25, the Standing Committee of Thach Ha District Party Committee held a meeting with Party cell secretaries, village chiefs, and heads of residential groups to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and welcome the New Year of the Dragon 2024. At the conference, delegates followed the report on the results of the implementation of socio-economic, national defense and security tasks of the district in 2023. Accordingly, in 2023, despite the implementation of tasks in a difficult context, with the attention, direction and support of the Provincial Party Committee, departments, branches, sectors, the Fatherland Front and provincial-level organizations, and the drastic efforts of the entire political system from the district to the grassroots level, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the Party Executive Committee of Thach Ha district directed the work of Party building and political tasks to achieve many comprehensive results in all fields; the breakthroughs were focused on, led and directed drastically and effectively; 22/24 targets achieved the set plan.
Budget revenue is estimated at over VND 1,595 billion (158% of the plan assigned by the province); attracting investment in 5 projects with a total investment capital of VND 3,632 billion, equal to 350.8% compared to 2022; the value of agricultural, forestry and fishery production reached VND 3,482 billion; the growth rate increased by 3.05% compared to 2022.
In the new rural area (NTM) construction, the district has 2 more communes recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as meeting advanced NTM standards, bringing the total number of communes meeting advanced NTM standards to 10. The total mobilized resources for NTM construction in 2023 is nearly 7,000 billion VND. The cultural and social fields have many outstanding results; security and order are ensured.
Mr. Nguyen Sy Sam - Secretary of the Party Cell of Residential Group 7, Thach Ha town shared experiences in implementing the Party's policies and the State's laws on building civilized residential groups.
At the meeting, delegates expressed their joy at the results that the district achieved in 2023. Delegates also shared experiences, advantages, difficulties, and obstacles in the process of implementing leadership and direction roles at the grassroots level.
Delegates also proposed a number of contents related to the implementation of tasks in the coming time; solutions to improve the quality of Party cell activities, the role of political core leadership of grassroots Party cells; Party member development work; upgrading and investing in rural transport infrastructure; building new rural areas and civilized urban areas...
