15 wild animals were released into the wild, including: 8 golden monkeys, 2 box turtles, 1 Indian falcon, 1 python, 1 jungle fowl, 1 maned porcupine and 1 rat snake.
Authorities release rare golden monkeys back into the wild.
The above individuals were voluntarily handed over by the people to the authorities for care, nurturing, and rehabilitation before being released into the natural environment.
Among them, there are many endangered, precious and rare forest animals according to the provisions of Decree No. 84/2021/ND-CP of the Government on the management of endangered, precious and rare forest plants and animals and the implementation of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.
Since the beginning of 2024, the Center for Rescue, Conservation and Development of Organisms under the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Management Board has received and rescued 47 wild animals; released 17 animals into the natural environment of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park. The rescue success rate reached 91.8%.
