TechFest Quang Nam 2024 attracts nearly 400 booths to display and introduce products

On the evening of June 6, at 24/3 Square, Tam Ky city, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province opened the 5th Creative Startup Week - TechFest Quang Nam 2024 with the theme "Intellectual property and digital technology - Creative startup platform".

Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee; Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Hoang Minh; Ho Quang Buu, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of TechFest Quang Nam 2024. TechFest Quang Nam 2024 took place from June 5-9, attracting nearly 400 booths, introducing thousands of ideas, startup products, OCOP products, typical rural industrial products inside and outside the province. In addition, TechFest Quang Nam 2024 also held many large-scale and in-depth seminars and forums on components of the startup ecosystem.

The 5th Creative Startup Week - TechFest Quang Nam 2024 conveys the message of encouragement, guiding the community to care for protecting intellectual property and connecting strong trade in the digital age; creating favorable conditions for the startup business community, organizations and individuals to have effective tools to stimulate innovation, create business advantages towards sustainable development. TechFest Quang Nam 2024 promises to bring many meaningful activities, new and creative knowledge... contributing to raising awareness of all levels, sectors and people about the role of science and technology, innovation serving socio-economic development, creating motivation and spreading the spirit of startups, entrepreneurial spirit; building a startup culture among all classes of people.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of TechFest Quang Nam 2024, Acting Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu emphasized that TechFest Quang Nam 2024 with a series of activities and events at national and international levels aims to affirm the position and role of Quang Nam province in particular and the whole country in general in developing the startup ecosystem. This is also an opportunity to expand connections and apply digital technology; introduce, promote, and display projects, innovative startup products, OCOP products and typical rural industrial products of Quang Nam and provinces and cities across the country. "The organization of the 5th Creative Startup Week - TechFest Quang Nam 2024 aims to create momentum and spread the spirit of startups, entrepreneurial spirit, startup culture; aiming to build products and quality of tourism services, contributing to increasing income and developing the local economy", Acting Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu shared. Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Hoang Minh said that the annual Techfest Quang Nam event has become a source of inspiration, attracting the attention of the business community, associations, unions, agencies, and organizations supporting startups in provinces and cities across the country. According to Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Hoang Minh, the series of events in the 2024 Quang Nam TechFest Creative Startup Week is a favorable opportunity to share connections, exploit resources, domestic and international experts; together come up with initiatives to overcome difficulties and challenges. Through this event, it will support and develop creative startup models, contribute to solving business challenges and contribute to the socio-economic development of the locality and the whole country.
