French Navy cruiser Vendemiaire conducts joint training with Vietnam Coast Guard

On the morning of April 11, the French Navy cruiser Vedemiaire docked at Tien Sa port (Da Nang city), beginning a friendship visit to Da Nang city that will last until April 15.

The French Navy cruiser Vendemiaire carried 98 officers and sailors, led by Lieutenant Colonel Sebastien Drouelle, the ship's commander.

On the morning of April 11, the ship welcoming ceremony took place solemnly at Tien Sa wharf, with representatives of leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Naval Region 3 Command, Coast Guard Region 2 Command, Da Nang City Border Guard Command, Da Nang City Military Command, Da Nang Port Border Guard Command, Foreign Affairs Department of Military Region 5 Command and representatives of the Foreign Affairs Department (Ministry of National Defense).

On this occasion, the French Navy cruiser Vendemiaire also welcomed delegates, representatives of French businesses and the French community in Vietnam, the City Union of Friendship Organizations, and representatives of a number of agencies, departments, the Ministry of National Defense, and students to visit the ship.

During their stay in Da Nang City, the command group of the French Navy cruiser Vendemiaire visited the ship of the Naval Region 3 Command and played volleyball.

In particular, the French Navy Vendemiaire cruiser participated in exchanges with the Naval Region 3 Command on fire and explosion prevention on ships, and conducted joint training with the Coast Guard Region 2 Command at sea.

In addition, officers and crew also visited the French-Spanish cemetery in Da Nang City, and visited some tourist attractions in Da Nang City, Thua Thien - Hue and Quang Nam.
