An excellent training room with modern machines will open in Ho Chi Minh City to welcome students to study, aiming to realize the goal of training more than 200 teachers and improving skills for more than 45,000 Vietnamese students in the digital age.

On February 20, Schneider Electric Group (France), Schneider Electric Foundation in collaboration with other units inaugurated the Center of Excellence (CoE) at Ly Tu Trong College (HCMC).
The excellent training room is designed with pioneering technology solutions in the field of energy and automation such as smart building systems, smart factories along with advanced solar energy systems to create a comprehensive learning and practice environment, helping students master technology solutions.
Mr. Dong Mai Lam - General Director of Schneider Electric Vietnam and Cambodia - said that the excellent training room is one of the proofs of the enterprise's long-term commitment to creating positive impacts and promoting sustainable development in Vietnam.
According to Mr. Lam, the excellent training department plays a role as a bridge between education and industry, providing job opportunities for the young generation in the era of digital transformation and energy transition.
Schneider Electric is committed to opening up development opportunities for students and lecturers at 20 vocational colleges nationwide with the goal of training 45,000 students and 200 lecturers in electricity, automation and renewable energy by 2030 to meet the demand for "green human resources".
Mr. Pham Huu Loc - representative of Ly Tu Trong College - said that the excellent training room has great significance for the school's teaching activities. The school's lecturers and students will be trained in depth, updated with advanced technology and technological development trends in the electricity industry, automation, digitalization and energy management in the world.
Ms. Diane Le Goff - Director of Education Project of Schneider Electric Global Foundation - emphasized that the foundation is always committed to accompanying many countries, including Vietnam, to promote and nurture green human resources for the future.
“This excellent training facility will not only train a highly skilled workforce, but also accelerate the sustainable transformation and create positive impacts for Vietnam’s economy. We are committed to supporting the training of 1 million young people in energy management by 2025,” said Ms. Diane Le Goff.
