Impressive results
In the first 9 months of 2024, in addition to basic advantages, the town faced many difficulties and challenges due to the rapid, complicated and unpredictable changes in the regional and world situation. Inflation has cooled down but remains high, monetary policy is tight; natural disasters and climate change continue to have a heavy impact... However, the Town Party Committee has promoted the spirit of solidarity, dynamism, creativity, overcome difficulties, strived to achieve and exceed the annual resolution targets in the fields of economic, cultural and social development, ensuring national defense and security, building a strong Party and political system.
Industrial and handicraft production in the area is generally stable, with growth in some key industries. Enterprises and factories in Phu Ha Industrial Park (IP) and Thanh Minh Industrial Cluster (IC) have basically maintained production activities. Up to now, 33/44 projects registered in the IP have come into operation; 10 projects are completing investment procedures and implementing basic construction.
Mr. Tran Tu Hai - Director of Phu Tho Construction and Installation Consulting Joint Stock Company, the investor of Thanh Minh Industrial Park, shared: “During the process of site clearance from 2019 to 2021, Thanh Minh Industrial Park also encountered many difficulties, but with the determination of the local government and the political system from the town to the grassroots, they actively participated, grasped the thoughts and aspirations of the people to have reasonable site clearance measures. By October 2021, the entire site clearance work was completed and the clean site was handed over to the unit. By April 2022, 100% of the industrial land area was covered, and up to now, the industrial park has been operating stably".
Solutions to attract investment and improve the business investment environment continue to be vigorously implemented; compensation, site clearance and administrative procedure reform have all had positive changes. Investment development and improvement of the town's business investment environment have achieved positive results. In the first 9 months of the year, the total social investment capital is estimated at more than 3,142 billion VND, reaching 82.7% of the plan, of which foreign direct investment capital FDI reached 1,483.5 billion VND, equal to 130.3% over the same period, reaching 87.3% of the plan.
The site clearance of key projects has been focused on, closely directed, and the long-standing problems and obstacles have been resolved. The town has focused on directing and implementing compensation and support for 17 projects, with a completed area of 6.6 hectares and a total approved budget, paying over VND 8.2 billion to 598 households; propagating and mobilizing 68 households to donate more than 1,787m2 of land to implement the road project connecting provincial road 325B to Thien Loi area, Ha Thach commune. Completed inventory of 14.7 hectares of locally adjusted Phu Ha Industrial Park; completed compensation and site clearance for Phu Ha market project and land use rights auction area in Phu Ho commune, Ha Thach.
Private investment projects are given attention, management is strengthened, and close coordination with relevant departments, branches, sectors and units continues to be maintained to resolve existing problems and obstacles for the projects. In the first 9 months of the year, the town has approved investment policies for 20 projects; approved investment in 35 works and projects. The work of payment and settlement has been given attention and implemented effectively, completing the examination and approval of the settlement of 20 projects.
Budget revenue in the town in the first 9 months achieved high results. Total state budget revenue is estimated at 759 billion VND, equal to 135.3% of the same period, reaching 147% of the estimate assigned by the Town People's Council; revenue in the area reached 346.1 billion VND, exceeding 73.2% of the same period, exceeding 34.1% of the estimate. Attention was paid to culture and education, social security was ensured, political security and social order and safety were maintained. The work of Party building and rectification, and building the political system continued to be strengthened.
Urgently construct and speed up the progress of the project to renovate and upgrade the road connecting provincial road 325B with Ho Chi Minh road to Ngoc Thap bridge and the rescue route.
"Accelerate" to break away
The results achieved in the first 9 months of 2024 of the town are quite comprehensive in all fields. The above results are thanks to the spirit of solidarity, unanimity and synergy of the entire political system, the entire Party Committee and the people of the town. In particular, the role of Party committees, authorities, leaders of departments, branches and organizations from the town to the grassroots level is extremely important in organizing and effectively implementing the directives and resolutions of the Party Committee of the town.
With only nearly 2 months left until the end of 2024, in order to achieve the set goals and political tasks, the Party Executive Committee of the town has identified the "key" to success as internal solidarity, high political determination, and joint efforts to carry out the tasks. The Party Committee assigns specific tasks to each sector and level, from which the sectors and localities develop specific task plans for each month and quarter of the year for implementation. During the implementation process, there will be inspections and supervision to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles. At the same time, the Party Committee leads and directs the People's Committee of the town to promptly commend and reward collectives and individuals with special achievements in the peak emulation periods to encourage cadres, party members, and people of the town to strive to compete in labor production, strive to "reach the finish line" and "exceed the finish line".

Maintain and perform well the tasks of education, health, culture and society; pay attention to taking care of people's health, fully and promptly implement social security policies, and sustainable poverty reduction. Perform well the task of ensuring national defense and security; focus on building a clean and strong Party and political system. Along with "accelerating" to complete the set targets and plans, the town is actively preparing for the grassroots Party Congress and the 24th Town Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
