Strengthening coordination in inspection and supervision between provincial police and localities

Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Ha Van Trong suggested that in the coming time, the Ha Tinh Provincial Police Party Committee and district, town and city Party Committees continue to review, supplement content, and implement effective and practical coordination regulations.

On the afternoon of October 11, the Provincial Police Party Committee and district, town and city Party Committees jointly organized a seminar on "Improving the effectiveness of coordination in performing the tasks of inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement for Party organizations and Party members of the District-level Police Party Committee".

Attending the seminar were Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Ha Van Trong, Colonel Nguyen Hong Phong - Director of the Provincial Police Department and leaders of Party committees and Inspection Commissions of districts, towns and cities.

On November 30, 2021, the Standing Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee issued Decision No. 277-QD/TU on promulgating the Regulation on coordination between the Provincial Public Security Party Committee and the District Party Committee, City Party Committee, and Town Party Committee in performing the tasks of inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline against Party organizations and Party members of the district-level Public Security Party Committee.

After 2 years of implementation, coordination between units has been carried out closely, in accordance with procedures and regulations.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tien Trinh - Permanent Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Police Party Committee reported the results after 2 years of implementing the coordination regulations.

Accordingly, immediately after the decision was issued, the Provincial Public Security Party Committee and district, town and city Party Committees disseminated and thoroughly informed cadres and party members; promptly issued documents directing and guiding the implementation in accordance with the set content and regulations.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Police Party Committee has issued decisions and organized 6 inspection plans for 6 Party Committees and Party Secretaries of District-level Police in leading and directing the implementation of resolutions of the Provincial Police Party Committee; The Standing Committees of District, City and Town Party Committees have issued decisions to inspect and supervise 7 Party organizations and 5 Party members under the District-level Police Party Committee.

The results of implementing the Regulations on coordination in performing the tasks of inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline have helped the Provincial Public Security Party Committee and the district, city and town Party Committees to better grasp the situation of Party organizations and Party members; promptly and accurately assess the advantages and disadvantages to better serve the process of leading and directing the district-level Public Security Party Committee in performing its tasks. Thereby, contributing to building a strong and comprehensive district-level Public Security force, successfully performing the task of ensuring security and order in the area.

At the seminar, delegates shared the results of coordination in performing inspection and supervision tasks; proposed key solutions to innovate and improve the quality of implementing coordination regulations.

Speaking at the seminar, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Ha Van Trong acknowledged and highly appreciated the implementation of the Coordination Regulations between the Provincial Public Security Party Committee and district, town and city Party Committees in inspection and supervision work in recent times.

The Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission suggested that in the coming time, units should focus on reviewing regulations in a more specific and practical direction; research and supplement missing contents and contents related to specific areas to coordinate more closely and effectively.

Strengthen coordination to grasp the situation, exchange relevant information about party organizations and party members to serve the leadership and direction of the Party Committee; perfect the information provision mechanism between the Provincial Public Security Party Committee and the district, town and city Party Committees, between the District Inspection Committee and the District Public Security Party Committee. Proactively establish interdisciplinary inspection and supervision teams; innovate and improve the quality of implementing the coordination regulations.

Actively coordinate to direct and guide the district-level police party committee and the commune-level police party committee to implement the work of inspection, supervision, and enforcement of Party discipline against party members and commune-level police party cells according to the content of the coordination regulations between the district-level police party committee and the commune-level police.

In his closing speech, Colonel Nguyen Hong Phong - Director of the Provincial Police Department affirmed the significance of organizing the seminar; at the same time, he emphasized the contents of more effective coordination between the Provincial Police Party Committee and the district, town and city Party Committees in the work of inspection and supervision.
