Tan Hiep Phat has accompanied Vietnamese scientific talents for 12 consecutive years.

This is the 12th consecutive year that Tan Hiep Phat has accompanied this award. The Golden Globe Award was first held in 2003 to honor outstanding young science and technology talents under the age of 35 who are studying, researching and working domestically or abroad.

Over the past 20 years, the award has attracted thousands of young talents from all provinces and cities across the country and young Vietnamese students and scientists studying, researching and working abroad.

After 20 years of implementation, up to now, 204 outstanding individuals have received the award, becoming high-quality science and technology human resources, making important contributions to the development of science and technology as well as the socio-economic development of the country.

Ms. Vo Thi Anh Xuan - Vice President attended and spoke at the 20th Anniversary Ceremony of the Golden Globe Science and Technology Awards.

In 2023, the Golden Globe Award was widely launched to 203 domestic and foreign units. After more than 4 months, the Award Council received 69 nominations from 38 agencies, units, universities, research institutes, enterprises nationwide and the Vietnamese Embassy, Vietnamese Youth and Student Association abroad.

This year's award candidates include 57 men, 12 women, 2 associate professors, 53 doctors and 16 masters. The youngest candidate was born in 1996, the oldest in 1981. There are 15 candidates studying, researching and working abroad.

From 69 applications in 5 award fields, the Award Council selected 10 most talented young faces to award the Golden Globe Award in 2023. Of which, 3 individuals were selected in the field of Information Technology, Digital Transformation and Automation; 3 individuals in the field of Medical and Pharmaceutical Technology; 2 individuals in Environmental Technology and 2 individuals in New Materials Technology.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet - Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Vietnam Student Association highly appreciated the passion and inspiration of the young talents who won the Golden Globe Award to Vietnamese youth.

On behalf of the Central Youth Union Secretariat, Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet - Central Youth Union Secretary, President of the Central Vietnam Student Association - commented that the generations of young talents who won the Golden Globe Award demonstrated many aspects, but had one thing in common: they always maintained their passion for science and technology, while inspiring and motivating Vietnamese youth in their love and aspiration to conquer science and technology.

Attending the award ceremony, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan praised the Central Youth Union and the Ministry of Science and Technology for their initiative and persistent coordination in organizing the Golden Globe science and technology award over the past 20 years.

Among them, many individuals after winning science and technology awards have matured and developed in their professional work, becoming successful scientists, managers, and businessmen, actively contributing to the development of science and technology.

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and First Secretary of the Central Youth Union Bui Quang Huy presented the 2023 Golden Globe Science and Technology Awards to the winners.

The Vice President suggested that young scientists and talented students should consider the awards they receive on this occasion as a recognition from the country for their important efforts, thereby gaining more motivation, positive energy, and constant creativity to create more valuable scientific works and products to serve the people, making positive contributions to the country's development.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee also awarded the 2023 Vietnamese Female Science and Technology Student Award to the 20 best female students selected from 65 applications from 12 training majors registered for the award.

The female students who won the award all had excellent academic achievements (average score of 3.6/4 or 9/10 points or higher), many students had articles published in prestigious domestic and international magazines and conferences, and participated in highly practical school-level scientific research topics.

Many female students have won high prizes in domestic and international startup and programming competitions, received scholarships and study exchange programs at home and abroad, and actively participated in volunteer activities for the community.
