As a native of Quang Binh, considered the "flood center" of the Central region, Ms. Le Thuong, President of the Vietnamese Association in Kansai, expressed her sympathy and shared the losses and pain of the people in the northern provinces caused by storms and floods. Faced with such heavy losses, each overseas Vietnamese living and working in Kansai joined hands to mobilize, donate and give support money to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, with the desire to contribute their hearts to help their compatriots overcome difficulties.

Receiving the kindness of the Vietnamese community in Kansai and organizations and businesses, Vice Chairman Nguyen Huu Dung affirmed that in difficult times, the tradition of solidarity, mutual love, and "helping each other" is most clearly demonstrated not only by the people in the country but also by the Vietnamese community abroad who always stand side by side towards the Fatherland. Although working, studying or doing business abroad, overseas Vietnamese always turn their hearts towards their homeland, contributing resources with the Party, State and Vietnam Fatherland Front to help people overcome difficulties.

According to Vice Chairman Nguyen Huu Dung, storm No. 3 made landfall directly in our country, causing huge damage to the northern provinces. After the storm, heavy rains continued to spread over most of the northern region, causing serious damage to people and property. The total economic damage was initially estimated at over VND81,500 billion. Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, in recent days, many agencies, organizations, businesses and individuals at home and abroad have joined hands and joined hands with localities to promptly support food, essential supplies, and help people restore production, build new houses, repair roads and schools.

With sincere gratitude to the sentiments of the Vietnamese community in Kansai and organizations and businesses, Vice President Nguyen Huu Dung hopes that the Vietnamese community abroad in general and the Vietnamese community in Kansai in particular will always unite, develop together and continue to have many meaningful activities towards the homeland and country.

On the same day, Mr. Nguyen Van Hanh, Deputy Chief of Office of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, received support from the Ngo Family of Vietnam in the amount of 625.3 million VND.
